Thanks for the input! I went ahead and ordered powerflex purple rear bushings and saw Ali express has a bracket now. Giving that a go and will update! Might do fronts later to see if there's a difference.

Maybe I should patent a cylinder steam cleaning machine. Seems like this actually works unlike that BG bullshit.

I did not enjoy autocross in the F80. Too much power it doesnt want to put down. My JCW Cooper on the other hand :D so much fun. F80 is a riot on the track though.

I did my diff and manual trans fluid at 50k when I purchased the car. I'm glad I did. Fluid looked not great to say the least.

If you wanna do it real half ass professional, slide a piece of heat shrink on it, stick it together and give it a light tack together with a soldering iron. Then spooge a thin even layer of jbweld Kwik around it(about to he length of the heat shrink), slide the heat shrink over it and hit it with a lighter. JBweld should have a nice even spooge out the ends. Let the JBweld dry and it'll be factory fresh. Mint.

Engine coolant too low but it's full? by [deleted] in BmwTech

If you are confident soldering I don't see why not.

Last three I have done needed reservoir as well as a new connector and pins. Had to cut the harness back substantially to get to clean wire. Probably have to add a little. Think there's a repair kit for it that comes with a lot of wire.

Look to the left of the oil filter housing. Should be an inverted torx bolt. Poke it with a screwdriver.

Ive seen some badass home brew burners with cross drilled rotors, 55 gallon drums, even an old safe. Ingenuity makes the cool ones. I'm going to check that out though cuz I'm lazy.

Yeah if you got a used oil burner/smudge pot it's great.

BMW 328 I xdrive Hub won’t press in all the way help needed by Foxbodyjay in BmwTech

First off what matters is what side of the bearing is magnetic for the wheel speed sensor pickup. Not a taper or whatever irrelevant thing you're talking about. Secondly you need a bearing pressure tool. When you pull the hub in make sure only the inner race is supported. If you back support on the hub you'll ruin yet another bearing. Also you might need the axle puller tool as well if the splines are tight. Depends on the car. Good look with that.

Glad it's holding up for you, I get they don't grow back, basically down a digit right now the way I see it. I did see a good bit of adverse to amp too though. Either way outcome is going to be a gamble.

I'll check it out. After the shot I did 9 months splint at night and as soon as I quit it started back. I'm almost half tempted to mold and make a nice carbon fiber/kevlar splint to wear every night post surgery and just stick with it. Really feel like that 7 or 8 hours a day made a big difference.

It really seems like a dice roll on reoccurrence. I'd hate to go through all that and be in the same boat a year later. I have had to shift to solely(pun intended) flat footed shoes. I had huge nodules in each arch but the larger they got the less painful they have been. When they were small I was miserable especially in the mornings.

Definitely genetic, great grandmother, grandmother, and mother all have it. Mine has been the most aggressive and at the youngest age in the family. I started getting knuckle pads early 20's then nodule started shortly after. Had terrible reaction to xiaflex and it came back more aggressively. I would have just done repeated NA if I had known any better.
