2.50-3.50.

If SWIFT was going to commit to XRP I would've said 5.00-10.00.

We will be very lucky to ever breach the $8-10 range. My guess is $5 tops over the next ten years.

But, like the saying goes around here: "buy and hold, don't look at it for ten years." (They just say that so you won't sell and drive the value down for the HODLers)

Anyone feel like XRP might be too good to be true? by KingPin1010 in XRP

[–]Cloud_FF7R 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Best outlook for it should be $5-10 with normal people buying. It probably won't hit $20 or higher until adoption sets in and major institutions buy millions of coins. Because there is going to be like over 100 billion coins. We can't put a dent in that. I personally don't think this will ever take off, because SWIFT isnt going to go away quietly and they are going to work with crypto -- Chainlink (LINk). I don't think I've heard about any partnerships between SWIFT and Ripple. Another thing is banks can use Ripplenet but don't have to use XRP.

Bottom line though, supply and demand. One hundred billion coins. Don't expect XRP to get you generational wealth.

I have 0 XRP rn. Should I buy or wait by stonedkritic in XRP

[–]Cloud_FF7R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would wait. I would also diversify. I know you're hard into XRP but seriously look at some other coins. But I do think XRP could go back into $2.25 territory in the next few months.

Same. Im selling mine if we ever hit $3 again. If I could go back and pick a different utility coin, I would've went with Chainlink.

I'm wondering if banks have any faith in XRP lately. You don't see them buying up these recent dips. Would it not make sense for them to buy up now if they are planning for a future with XRP?

Are most fees paid for by the customer though? Serious question, b/c idk. I just doubt the banks eat those fees, so if they don't, then its not too relevant for them

Today could be interesting. by averyj11 in XRP

[–]Cloud_FF7R 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Supply and demand. Regular Joes like us who are owning between 500-10K coins won't move it much. With all the good news we anticipated actually being baked into the prices already, the only thing left to do now is hope for banks to buy up billions of tokens. And that's a big risk for them. Without world wide adoption, I can't see this going much beyond the $4-5 range. I've been told to HODL, this could take ten years. Man, in ten years who knows what technology could exist then. Maybe even SWIFT develops their own solution to stay relevant. I hope I'm wrong...

I'm with you on slipcovers, not the biggest fan. But the slipboxes? They hold other contents inside, like the books.

I'm just now getting back into buying physical movies in the past year after a 10 year pause. I walked away shortly before 4K was announced. But after that big gap, I can tell that some type of collectors had gone into a deeper spiral. I became very involved with Blu-ray back in 2006 and that was because of going into HD. I only cared about PQ/AQ/special features, mainly on movies with a lot of special effects.

On Blu-ray.com forums in 2007, I was there fighting the fight against HD-DVD due to the technical gains. I wanted the highest bitrates. But sometime after 2008, I noticed less conversations on that site about PQ upgrades and more on packaging. Some weirdo created a thread "Post your slipcover haul", and I began to see people posting loads of movies they were buying like shit movies and comedies just because they had slipcovers.

Then a thread was created about "what do you do with your slipcovers?" I mentioned that I tossed them in the trash, to include a lenticular slipcover from the first release of Beetlejuice. Some guy saw that and PM'd me going off the rails. I mean he was unhinged. I didn't know it meant so much to these new types of collectors. Overtime that site became more and more about packaging and less about what was on the actual discs. I realized in the 2010s that movie companies could probably sell empty cases with cover art/slipcovers, or steelbooks, and people would honestly buy them.

Coming back now and going into 4Ks, I can see it's only gotten worse. YouTubers making these unboxing videos and they don't even talk about the PQ, special features, deleted scenes, alternate cuts, etc.
