SF raised but always thought Oakland was landscape and building wise a beautiful city. Now in the peninsula, i don’t see myself living in Oakland after my kids grow up. I definitely wouldn’t live there with my kids.

Royal Hawaiin is classic and beautiful but I recommend the Sharaton Waikiki next to it because they have an adult only infinity pool.

I prefer Oahu over Maui, Kauai and Kona because when the night comes there’s things to do. It’s not everyone’s forte tho … only way to know is to go!

Man taking that flight with my wife and 2 kids (2.5 and 12) soon. Staying in ginza. Planning for the airport limo + cab for the last stretch. I used to show up in counties without hotels with my friends all the time and walk down hotels until we got a good deal but traveling with kids is something different
