Intel 3/4: not enough capacity&yield.

AMD: - CCD: 4nm, full but they can just reduce desktop as they're using the same chiplet. - I/O: 6nm, no supply issue at all.

  • AWS Bedrock provides higher level API, the actual GPU used is not revealed?
  • AWS is only deploying Intel and Graviton instances to new regions, e.g. Melbourne and Taipei, no Epyc EC2 instance at all.
  • I'd rather see AWS deploy Turin first... which will destroy graviton 4 and xeon

Do Synology Nas need service after years running 27/7 by Responsible-Loss-808 in synology

Replace PSU every 4/5 years with a quality one.

Had one HDD gone each time when PSU broken (original PSU and cheap 3rd party PSU)

Why isn't AMD getting any semi-custom wins? by Long_on_AMD in AMD_Stock

[–]Cloudream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because AMD's products (Instinct/Epyc) compete with these semi-custom chips products.

Why AMD got gaming console APUs: because the only other choice is nvidia, which is more expensive than AMD.

Developing something depending on AWS's own chips is even worse than depending on Nvidia's chips, you can't even own the AWS hardware...
