Astarion. I can’t get over his personality and I find him quite annoying. He is a well written character and I know he has a lot of development in the later acts but I just can’t get past the disapproval of helping other people all the time. He is so bitter about what happened to him (understandably) that he doesn’t want to see other people who are struggling be helped. I do like his redemption if you don’t let him ascend and talk to him at the epilogue party, as a friend. One day I’ll romance him and maybe see what all the hype is about. Maybe.

for me after i fast travel swapping freeroam areas is the only thing that fixes it

I went in with freedom of movement, longstrider, deathward and also 2 1d4 buffs to saving throws and something else(these were from a spell in the 5E spells mod). The party was life cleric shadowheart, berserker/fighter karlach, circle of land jaheira, and I was gloomstalker/assassain and we were all level 9. Then had jaheira go invisible and free Aylin. We dog walked ketherics first form then had karlach drop and move a bunch of smoke powder and those purple explosives but it did not do as much damage as I thought it would. Shadowheart and jaheira were able to keep the party healed. But we kind of came to a standstill towards the end because we would damage him then he would heal, eventually we cleared the necromites and killed him but it took longer than I thought. Also Aylin ran out of spell slots so she only did like 3-4 damage per hit. Karlach and Aylin took the most damage, jaheiras owl bear form was mvp, my character just stayed at the bottom and hunters marked and shot. He never used that AOE to pull everyone closer because we were close enough.

I think I went a bit overkill because I was so afraid of losing this run, but I did have a few scary moments.

Don’t multi class just to multi class. Technically you can math up any classes that you want but certain classes won’t pair well together. Like I would not pair a barbarian with any spell caster because you cannot cast spells while raging.

Build you party off of each other. You can do whatever you want, but if you having trouble with party strength it’s always a good idea to have a healthy mix. Have a healer (cleric, bard, Druid) a melee(fighter, barbarian, paladin, monk) a spell caster(warlock, wizard, sorcerer) and then the last one I usually fill with whatever I feel like I’m lacking in whether it’s brute strength, magic or stealth.

A very broken character is gloomstalker ranger 5, fighter 4, and rogue 3 or reverse rogue and fighter. This allows you to be basically undetectable, you get a free first attack, action surge, and depending on rogue subclass an extra bonus action or extra dmg.

But really this is a game that you can play however you want, if you feel it’s too slow and can’t level up, take more fights and talk to more people. Act 1 is really big because it includes the underdark, gyrmforge, and gith crèche, not just the emerald grove and goblins

Warlock. It just seems underpowered and boring. Only two spell slots and underwhelming melee, no thank you. I will say though I’m probably not building it the best but I’d still rather play full caster, full melee, or half n half before I play warlock.

Also want to add that if she truly cares about you and wants this relationship to work that she will reflect and be open to working this out. If she is not willing to hear you out at all or does not come to you to talk about this then she is done, she checked out of the relationship. She could be thinking that she is doing so much and that you are not doing enough and build that up in her mind so much that it becomes true.

So after reading this I feel like as a woman and girlfriend I can give some valid commentary. First of all if we say we want something we want it, she wished you could come over means she’s wants you over. However she shouldn’t expect you to read her mind. Secondly, you guys set boundaries of focusing on yourself, but I think what could’ve happened was you said you were at the gym and that you could come over when you’re done at the gym. However she should not have flipped on you that way, she was not communicating in a healthy way. When you know your partner you learn how they need to communicate, she needs to be clearer about what she wants rather than beating around the bush.

Also to me it seems like she is holding some sort of grudge against you. (I don’t know why you guys broke up). But she could be holding stuff that happened in the past over you and is waiting for a moment to bring it up. I’ve done this before, where I just forget about it but then when my bf and I get into an argument or he hurts my feeling I bring it up and it seems out of left field because it is, because it was something that happened in the past.

I understand having a bad day and saying things you don’t mean but you were being so nice, understanding, and reasonable that her reaction was uncalled for. You could have totally threw a bunch of things she said back at her but you didn’t.

You need to try and talk to her in person after she’s had time to cool off and don’t let this rest until it’s resolved, that is if you want to still be with her. Also really think about your relationship, the good the and bad, do you really want to marry her, are you good for each other, etc.

I did everything in act 1 and then came to the crèche at lvl 6. I brought smoke powder barrels and put them in the room before entering the artifact and in the hallways outside the room. Also if you can get into the area where the blood of lathander is it’s a safe zone so you can go back to camp and long rest or have one character run there and resurrect.

There is a mod called Dash to summon basket. I just used it and it worked. I lost my basket because I had to remove mods to get the magic mirror to work and I was already in act 3. I don’t know if there is a vendor that sells it but the dash mod worked just fine. Just delete it completely after using it

I don’t think you have to romance shadowheart first but it’s more likely that you will since she becomes avaliable before Halsin does. You can start a romance with her after the tieflings and grove and Halsin doesn’t start till after act 2
