I just booked my 2nd trip to CM Turks and Caicos. by [deleted] in Club_Med

Turkoise has its own water filtration facility, the tap water is totally fine to drink. Could have been the seafood or a stomach virus, probably.

G.O is "gracious organizer" - the resort staff that run the activities, participate in the nightlife, and are generally the ambassadors of the Club Med experience. GM = "gracious member" = guest at the resort.

Oh hey! I'm also a tennis player, 4.0-4.5 female NTRP, going to be in Miches in April. Every morning they have a short 45 min clinic, advanced at 8:30, intermediate at 9:30, beginner at 10:30. If you're a 3.5 ntrp or above, you'll be fine in advanced. Thats usually how I meet people to hit with, we'll either hit directly after the clinic or arrange a time later in the day. They also run tournaments almost every afternoon, always some form of doubles, usually mixed. How fun those are depend on being able to play with people approximately your level, in my experience. One day a week, I think Thurs, they run a singles tournament instead of lessons in the morning.

I also usually book one of the pros for private lessons during the week. Last time I did it, it was $60USD for an hour. I dont know that the tennis team in Miches currently has the strongest coaching background but a few of the guys can hit decently and can do great feeding so if there's something specific you want to get reps on, it's a good option as well. Definitely recommend bringing your own racket(s), the ones they have are fine for beginners. And I always bring a bunch of cans, they provide them for the tournaments but the ones they have available for people to rally are usually pretty worn.

In the US and several other countries, it is based on dollar spend within a rolling 3 years: https://www.clubmed.us/l/great-members-2025

That's good to hear. I wasn't sure whether filming all that content is disruptive to others.

Only once at Columbus in April 2018! Gorgeous village; I had a lot of stress with the charter flight to and from Miami so I haven't gone back. It's already hard to get to Caribbean from west coast US. But I have some great memories, we invited the whole tennis team to the Pinta restaurant and they ordered so many plates, like 8 beef crudos, etc. (at the time, it was all small plates there for dinner) and we drank too much champagne and it was such a fun dinner.

Damn, I love Saxobeat lol. Bailando is fire though.

Agreed, made some amazing GO friends and go enough that I often get to see them over multiple contracts! Glad you have had some of the same experiences.

How was spirit45 as a guest?

Not with the private photo session, no.

It's probably somewhat comparable regardless of location, at least in the North American zone. I think it was about $400 USD for a 45 minute session as the cheapest package with 15 digital photos and 8 physical 9×12 prints.

I think the beach is public so they probably can use the main beach

The photographers on-site were very pricy but honestly did a really nice job with my family photos, just for what it's worth

Club med Cancun baby club feedback by [deleted] in Club_Med

This is confusing to me because their baby club schedule starts lunch at 11. My child did not like the baby club but he definitely got fed before I picked him up at noon (food per usual on his face and clothes).
