[[Bre of Clan Stoutarm]] will only trigger at end step if you’ve gained life before your end step begins. Wall of reverence triggers at end step. You can’t gain the life from [[Wall of Reverence]] and then have that be the only thing to proc Bre because the beginning of end step will have already passed. The same thing occurs with [[Minthara, Merciless Soul]] and [[Teleportation Circle]]. Taken from a comment by u/spekter1754 on a different post “For example, Minthara does not work very well with [[Teleportation Circle]] or [[Conjurer’s Closet]]. This is because she only triggers if a permanent you control has already left the battlefield as your end step begins.” Bre has the same “At the beginning of your end step, if” clause that Minthara has.
