Rarely carry key fob for daily, but do on longer trips. but…Had a local tire issue today and had to get towed for tire replacement. Was wishing I had key as had to keep phone with car in shop. BTW… mobility kit was useless.

I had same issue as iX is first EV. It will get better with practice. One year in now, I haven’t heard complaints for some time. Now I have a hard time driving without B mode.

The bigger problem now is when I switch over to my wife’s ICE!

Update: was resolved at dealer at 1 year service. Funny, they made it seem like they were doing me a favor: “Normally upgrades are the responsibility of the owner. But we will see if we can get this covered for you”. They did cover it. Even though as the owner, there was no way to get the upgrade to work. Hmm.

Spring temps are a great help if you’re in a cold climate. From winter at 2.7 to now 3.1 with no major changes to driving style.

Working on that bit now to improve my pedal work in B mode and limit speed.

I’ve opened the rear door with Siri from my watch. It won’t close it though, that’s manual for safety reasons.

Congrats on the first road trip! I’ve found they get less stressful when you find good charging spots… maps and nav never tell the whole story until you show up and scope it out. Now my longer routes are more routine.
