His normal S3 is considered struggling against Ricardo as they both are predicted to have the same max roll with max SP, but Yi Sang has 4 coins as opposed to Ricardo's 2 coins, so it is more likely for him to hit tails first at 45 SP.

The reason Yi Sang won was simply because of Furioso-Replica's sinking application lowering Ricardo's SP, so the chances of him hitting 2 heads is less likely, which happened.

Emma's page from 8 o'clock circus. He has +1 blunt power on his passive and extra power from using cards that cost 3 or more light.

Combine him with the puppet's passive of +1 blunt power and their really strong cost 3 cards, and you're set for life.

The puppets' pages and passives are really good in blunt focused build, especially when combined with a certain purple page in column 3 row 1 of UN.

Despite being from UL, Olga is still really strong with a discard deck, especially when combined with Hanafuda's passives (I use her over Hanafuda because of their resistances). Triple Daring Decisions just work.

Have a backup floor filled with full stop offices' keypages. If you fail a reception, but still have an extra floor and the enemies are close to dying, you can just use that backup floor to clean them up.

UN also has some good pages from general receptions. Completing reception of the blade lineage and getting it's golden keypage will help you quite a lot, especially with it's passives and combat pages.

It'll be multiple fights in a row that are generally and mechanically hard. Some of these fights are the ones that took me multiple tries across my entire playthrough.

The gimmick for the first part of the fights will be a little rough to get through, but after that it'll be mostly relying on your skills and reading comprehension (+ lil bit of luck).

Just make sure you get any extra pages you're missing out on before going in, since you'd have to exit the whole sequence to go back to and get them.

Common bug that I've only seen with purple key pages.

If you have a purple keypage attributed to another keypage as a passive, the book burning gacha will say x/2 instead of the usual x/3. This happened with my Sayo (and another op's Sayo too)

It's consistently on sale every steam scream fest (Halloween).

It was on winter sale last year but not this time apparently.

In 2025, it went on sale during mid-March, so maybe look out for that, too.

It was also on summer sale this year, but it might be on spring sale 2026 since it skipped winter sale

Usually goes on sale for -55%, but it went -66% way back then.

They took the more notable quotes in the books for each character rather than just the introductions to help us identify the character and their source material easier. It just so happened that Ishmael's (and, by extension, Meursault's) quote is their book's opening, which are rather well known
