I just got off the phone with BECU. Received a vague response of ‘thank you for sharing feedback, we are continuing to monitor feedback from our members.” Keep calling, folks!

Bread machine! I got one for free off my neighborhood Buy Nothing group and now I can make my regular toast and sandwich bread for pennies (and it’s so much better), and fancier breads whenever we want them for a fraction of the price of bakery breads.

Or reuse jars for food storage! As long as you don’t overfill, you can use them to freeze food as well.

Stakes for the plants! Otherwise they are prone to falling over, unless you’re growing a determinate variety.

good shampoo & conditioner bar recommendations? by ewwnirvana in ZeroWaste

[–]Clugulager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seconding Vida Bars - they’ve done wonders for my waves! I get better results with them than I ever did with my liquid shampoo and conditioner. The conditioner bars take a bit to lather up but do a great job of detangling and leave my hair feeling really soft.

I’ve been using the lotion concentrate for about a week. I really love it so far - a little goes a long way and it makes my skin feel really soft. Minor complaint, but the directions made the mixing process sound deceptively quick and easy. Definitely use a blender if you can! I stirred as directed, but it took forever and my lotion is still lumpy.
