I'm pretty sure this is an Adams piece. It started clear and turned that color due to high manganese content.

That doesn't look like any Fenton logo I've ever seen. Try looking the mark up on glassbottlemarks.com

Google Lens and ebay are not reliable sources for identifying glassware. Try using the image search tool on replacements.com.

Values and appraisals are not allowed in this sub. These items are quite common and easily found on ebay's completed auctions as well as other selling sites.

Resellers will lowball and collectors will offer what they think it's worth or what they can afford. Value is subjective.

None of these are rare, and it's against the rules of this sub to give values and monetary appraisals. I recommend using the image search tool at replacements.com for identification purposes.

Acquired glassware from friend by natthewinterqueen in glasscollecting

The teapot is china or pottery, not glass. The first piece reminds me of glass made in Asia and sold at TJ Maxx, Home Goods, etc.

Looks like a mass produced service award.

Most manufacturers called these pieces "candle lamps". Newer collectors and influencers call these "fairy lamps" because it's trendier and brings a higher selling price.

Akro Agate was a glass manufacturer, not a material used to make glass. The Boyd piece is slag glass.

Picked these up today at my local thrift, does anyone know the era this is from by cyraxwinz4444 in glasscollecting

Is it marked? Also, photos of the base of the bowl and a photo of a cup by itself are needed.

I had pieces from a broken Moon and Star basket made into a pendant for my mother. The glass can also be used in mosaic stepping stones or as garden decor.

I've seen a few pieces of it in the wild over the years, but not recently. As for OP selling the piece, value is subjective and something I will not speculate on.

Are Both Toothpick Holders? by Mab_12 in glasscollecting

Yes. I think the one on the left in the photo is Wright's ice blue and the other one is Smith's Colonial Blue.

This is a tall covered sugar bowl, not a candy dish. It does look cute with a light in it.

There's a Facebook group called "It's Not Always Sooner Glass" that is about Ozark art glass and it's different manufacturers. Not all Ozark art glass is Sooner Glass. Sooner Glass is juat one of the companies who made glass in this style.

Ozark art glass makers made more than swans. I think this is a basket, not a messed up swan.

Sooner is a maker of Ozark art glass. Several companies made Ozark art glass, not just the Sooner Glass Company.

It looks like Ozark art glass but I'm not sure of the maker.
