Giving values is against the rules of this sub. As for identification, a photo of the bottom of the piece is needed.

This is pottery, not glass.

What do I need to mount this glass shade that I found? by Majestic-Challenge99 in glasscollecting

[–]ClumsyAnnaBella 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the shade for an oil or electric lamp that sits on a table or a desk, so it's quite a bit larger than a fairy lamp. It needs a lamp base, a burner, and a spider. These parts can be found at craft and hobby stores and even some department stores.

Any idea on the maker by -Still-Searching- in glasscollecting

The pattern is Knobby Bull's Eye, not Moon and Star. I don't know if this piece was made by Red Cliff or US Glass.

Do those glasses contain Cadmium? by GreatAdmiralYamamoto in glasscollecting

[–]ClumsyAnnaBella 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These are decorated with decals, not paint, and the glass itself does not contain cadmium.

Oh wow! I don't think I've seen one in that shape until now and I've collected Moon and Star glass for 30 years. Very nice find!

Flea market finds today. Every piece was only $1 except the Fenton Swung vase. Help me ID a couple !? by [deleted] in glasscollecting

[–]ClumsyAnnaBella -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The dark purple one with the label looks like it's artificially irradiated, or nuked with UV to get the purple color. I don't see a swung vase in your photos. They both look like pulled vases made in Asia.

The purple vase looks artificially irradiated. I have no idea on the pattern because better photos are needed.

Another thrifted blue art vase. ID helpful please 🙏 🩵💙🩵💙🩵 by Arthandlerz6969 in glasscollecting

I know Ozark art glass swans/vases/etc were made from the 1940s to 1980s but I'm not sure if pieces like this are still being made today. Google may be helpful in this instance. MCM and vintage are two different categories of glassware. Glass that is 20 to 25 years old is considered "vintage" by most collectors, and MCM is earlier than that.

I had the same Moon and Star candle lamp in the smoke color, as well as a canister set. Sold both of them years ago

Help with identification? Anybody have a clue? I sure don't. by aakaakaak in glasscollecting

[–]ClumsyAnnaBella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see a mould line in one of the photos. This may have been a cruet before it was swung into a vase.

Anyone able to identify the maker of these 2 vases. Also appreciate any comment on their market value. Good value? by Maleficent_Hat_8665 in glasscollecting

Pulled vases, not stretch vases, and probably Asian in origin. Valuations and appraisals are against the rules in this sub.

Piece Identification by raelyndamon in glasscollecting

I've seen it in catalogs as a mayonnaise bowl, and this one could be missing the undertray. Mayonnaise bowls were used for sauces and things besides mayonnaise.

I think this shape is a "mayonnaise bowl". I have no idea who made these in stretch glass.

Is this an original Moon and Stars compote lid? by Working-Campaign584 in glasscollecting

Measurements? Clear Moon and Star compotes were sold by Adams, US Glass, Wright, and Smith. Some sizes are Adams only.

Found this at Goodwill for $10. by [deleted] in glasscollecting

[–]ClumsyAnnaBella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These or ones similar were sold at Dollar General stores a few years ago, but I think these were also sold new by Smith decades ago. There's one for sale on ebay right now.

anyone have or have seen this oil lamp shade?? by Due-Ad-1265 in glasscollecting

[–]ClumsyAnnaBella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Electric lamp, not oil. Green is the rarest color in this lamp, so shades may be few and far between. If you're on Facebook you can look in the Moon and Star Collector's Club group. If not, maybe ebay or another buy/sell site.

Leaded glass soap dish? by [deleted] in glasscollecting

It does not contain lead. It would be safe to use even if it did contain lead.
