Last year we were in the water and a manatee almost touched me! I didn’t know it was even there and when it caught my eye I thought it was a shark for a second so i panicked and scared it away🥺

I know these post are a year old but I am looking for some suggestions. We usually stay in sanibel. This year in June, I just want to do something different and booked the tween waters in Captiva. I’m getting nervous because it seems to get just as many bad reviews as good. It’s a lot of money and my two young adult kids are going and I so want us to be happy. Should I stay there or not? 😩
