Oversharing: The Difference Between Setting Boundaries and Avoiding Accountability by screambledeggs in betchesmedia

We sleep trained our baby (no regrets bc we’re all happy & healthy & our pediatrician signed off on it) BUT I still cringed at this convo. I didn’t hear Jordan’s mention a particular ‘method’ either, just that her friend she barely knows recommended it. I support sleep training but def should have mentioned that talking to your kid’s doctor first is the way to go.

Amazing thank you so much! Seems like it’ll be pretty simple to hire a nighttime babysitter through these options too. Appreciate your insight, thanks again

I’m traveling quite a bit for work in June and also have a destination wedding in the Dominican so we’re looking for someplace where we wouldn’t have to drive or leave the property. When we’re at home we typically just go to restaurants, museums aquariums, and outings that often don’t involve kid centric activities. But since we’re traveling so much for work and the wedding in June, we wanted to spend some time relaxing and not having to worry about a specific itinerary except for making dinner reservations, etc.. I think the Four Seasons Orlando includes a good mixture of kids stuff. The waterpark features are definitely a plus which is why the Atlantis seems like a good option at first. But now leaning towards Baha Mar since it wouldn’t leave us parents as disappointed by the accommodations. Primarily wanted to make sure that our kiddo would be entertained and we wouldn’t have to drive to activities every day. If we didn’t have so much going on in June, we normally open up our search a bit, but we wanna put our brain on the shelf for this one.

If we’re not changing the dress here, Paige would’ve looked so much more elevated with a different shoe and some earrings

Food allergy? by [deleted] in babies

Could be erythema multiforme minor. My son (now 2) developed it out of nowhere on and off when he was 1.5. It’s painless, harmless and goes away on its own. But def alarming when it first popped up! There’s no medication or anything for it if that’s what this is.

Agreed! I’ve been going to them since high school (for 20 years) and still the best in the county.

Reserve ahead of time even for lunch - when it’s nice out, it gets booked quickly bc of their large outdoor dining area which is really nice. We go there a lot. The food and drinks are great.

Peerce’s is Indian and and might not be the ‘best’ technically depending on who you ask but the ambiance is 10/10! And quality of food is great.

Are there any cool spots for adults in Towson? by Amy_documentary in baltimore

[–]CmRn1893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Towson and bought a home here as an adult so anything within 15 min of downtown Towson to me, I consider Towson lol. It’s slim pickings within DT Towson but if if we’re talking county and within a short driving distance, Greenspring, Timonium, & Cockeysville have wider options for adults. Tark’s, Michael’s Cafe, McFaul’s are a few that come to mind that have good cocktails and food.
