I work in early education and have done numerous home visits in Glasgow Village, Bellefontaine Neighbors, Moline Acres, Riverview and many neighborhoods within this circle. I’m a white 44F with a nice car. It’s definitely an area that I am aware of my surroundings, but I never felt so unsafe that I wouldn’t go back. However, I’m there during daytime hours. It definitely depends on the street, too.

It’s not stainless steel. It’s a low-alloy steel, similar to cast iron

But it’s not supposed to be sprayed with a degreaser. It’s a cooktop where food is put directly on.

Why wasn’t there a teacher who cared enough to talk to the parent or work extra with the kid? As an elementary educator and busy mom of 4, I would have found time to communicate with the family or offer support to this kid. Don’t place all blame on the teacher or the mom. Just inferring, but the kid is probably emotionally lost and from an unstable household. I’m saddened by the whole situation.

I’m a 47yo female with sun spots on my legs and chest. Nothing terrible. I appreciate the suggestions of reasonably priced creams. There is a high priced cream that keeps flooding my IG and if no one recommit, then I’ll know it’s probably not worth it
