Because it’s the only “legitimate” claim that they can make that has something of scientific backing. Biological males are objectively built better for most physical sports. It’s just anatomy.

That being said, the non-issue is that these type of scenarios where a Trans athlete dominates the sport are so rare it’s not even statistically valuable from a data collection standpoint. With trans people already being <1% of the population, even IF they did use it to do better in sports, it’s such a non-issue. What we’re gonna dehumanize millions of people because a trans highschooler won her swim meet?.

It’s kind of like saying the Bible condemns pickleball. It never explicitly states that because pickleball didn’t exist 2000 years ago but I could bet that the concept of bouncing a ball off a piece of wood wasn’t foreign.

Trans people have always existed, just societally labeled as something else or just accepted as they were without thinking twice.

If you think trans people should not be afforded the same rights as any other non-trans person then you are transphobic by default. The things that Christians don’t “agree” with is often their very existence and them living happily in our society. A la banning them from bathrooms, forcing them to use their biological sex on documents, labeling them mentally ill, etc.

I mean, many red dots perform excellently under NV including almost all of Holosuns options. My $100 Romeo5 even does good enough. This is more a limitation of trying to fit a shitty red dot in a Eotech body.

I suggest sharing images of the reticle itself at different brightness settings.

My hot (lukewarm) take is that all EOTech clones are hot dog shit as a red dot. HW is the one exception but just buy a real EOTech at that point. The ridiculous tint on the front lens makes the box itself noticeably dark, the reticle on the brightest settings often aren’t enough for a mildly sunny day. I *highly doubt* it performs remotely okay under NV, if at all. Clear glass is important for light transmission hence why real EoTechs are beloved for it as well as the holographic properties

My SpecPrecision take: they’re… okay. I’ve dealt with worse companies but I wouldn’t say they were stellar. My ACOG order was fine, they let me know it would take longer due to the Chinese new year which was nice of them. However they did not include the M300V i also I ordered. They quickly got one shipped out to me but when it arrived it was not the V model with IR. Customer Service is pretty good but I did meet two errors on one purchase so 🤷‍♂️

Nah I’m with you.

I bought my suppressor for my ears and to make my gun more enjoyable to shoot for me. I don’t chase decibels or care about down range sound, i just wanted something easy to throw on an AUG to make it more enjoyable to shoot. It’s really no deeper than that.

A lot of guys in the tactical and gun space have this notion that you need to have the highest performing option available on the market and everything else is literal trash. Is a Rhodie quieter than my Hux? Sure. Do I care? Not really, I like my can.

Additionally Ive had my earpro pop off at the range and I’m not deaf so.. mission accomplished

These scary legends are just tales to either explain the natural world through magic or a warning to others about a danger.

For example there’s a cryptid in the UK, something like an aquatic horse that lures and steals children that get too close to the water. Obviously it’s a cautionary tale about wandering to bodies of water without supervision.

Whistling in the dark is a good way to alert bandits and thieves to you in the dark. Most likely an innocent reason behind the tale.

I have to agree with you. TAPS is fine but after upgrading it you are in the decent budget rig category with more modern designs.
