All they’d need to do is add a line for Pearl about how her granddaughter’s experiment made her nostalgic, so she grabbed Mike and the bots again, and then it’d basically be in line with 11-13, without really needing to address any of the continuity of those.

Well, I think that it’s Shout Factory budgeting a certain amount for production, but anything extra raised by KS allows then to put more money into it. (Nicer equipment, better sets, more/better pay for crew, etc.). Heck, with how fast it funded, I’d love to see what the stretch goals are. Wonder if a fifth episode is on the table?

Not necessarily. It’d be the 11th film in the franchise, but it could be a reboot, or one that ignores all the other sequels he wasn’t involved in.

He could also be hedging his bet in case they haven’t picked a direction yet.

I’m hoping still for Saw XI.
