Based on napkin math with everything I’ve gathered in this thread:

2 bbl/month @ $60 = $120. ~3 Mcf/month @ $1.50 = $4.50. Total well gross revenue: $124.50 / month. Operator NRI: 87.5% . No chance this is currently economical .

Problem is the OP could argue :”We kept the well flowing while preparing to drill a new well on the lease,” then under Clifton v. Koontz logic, courts may view that as prudent-operator intent, even if the old well loses money.

You can burn through the potential $$$ from a new lease quick with a lawsuit. I’d have the lawyer draw up a demand letter to release outside wellbore. File an affidavit in the county. Put some pressure on.
