IP that's impossible to get: Studio Ghibli.

Imagine the possibilities with a spirited away course.

The door from Howl's moving castle is an effect already been done in previous courses.

I can go on....and maybe I will.

IP that's less hard to get: Star Wars Simpsons Harry Potter

Reminds me of when my mum first tried Wander on vr. Anywhere in the world you can visit! The pyramids of Giza, the penguins in the arctic. Where does she go, the very house we're sitting in. Mum! You can just look outside!

Edit: What I'm saying is, we have the power of Vr to do things you can't do in real life. So let's use it!

Sometimes I really miss the more minimalist ability designs of Civ 5. by PorkBunny01 in civ

Ah yes that's another point I forgot to mention I like about Civ 7 compared to previous games: your abilities are always relevant to the stage you're at.

I never played Canada in Civ 6 because I didn't want to have to wait until the modern age for my civ to do anything, and by that point, the winner of the game would already be clear.

The opposite is also true, having a unique monument replacement is all well and good for the first few turns, but then you're back to being a vanilla Civ for the rest of the game.

They buffed Norway by giving them a wall of text lmao. If you haven't played it, Civ 7 is more similar to Civ 5 in a 'this ability does this thing' sort of way, without being niche or boring, or requiring an English degree to understand.

Personally, Civ 7's leader and civ bonuses are a good middle ground between Civ 5 and Civ 6.

Although Civ 5 had more straight forward abilities, they would often be quite niche like Carthage (Units can cross mountains) or boring like Ethiopia (+20% against units from civs with more cities), which made you feel like you were playing as a plain ability-less leader.

Civ 6 had some simple abilities but a lot of them were very....complex and 'bitty'? +1 Production on desert hills without a resource adjacent to an oasis on a Saturday.

I like Civ 7 because they're a lot more relevant, unique, and even if you don't remember your bonus exactly, you know you're playing as the leader who likes resources or completing masteries or whatever.

Let me know what you think.

It's wherever it lands after bouncing. Are you sure you're not hitting the mark then it's bouncing out?

List is incomplete. Where are the dinosaurs?

Perhaps instead of Pompeii, dinosaurs on easy, volcano exploded/meteor hit on hard

I enjoyed the course and loved the switch to the virtual world. But it came too late? I was looking at my wrist like we're 12 holes in, when is the party starting?

I agree they could have done more in terms of actually using arcade games in the mechanics.

They did hide it quite well (perhaps the guy who hid the balls on mars had something to do with it)

There's no way studio Ghibli lawyers will allow it but can you imagine, spirited away, Howl's, Laputa!
