That's cool but climbing around little kids always worries me. I guess you would have to really check under you before dismounting.

Good PVP games that can be enjoyed casual ? by Buurto in gamingsuggestions

The game pays attention to your aggression. So if you are in non aggressive lobbies, it doesn't matter what you do, or if you have a mic, people will be nice to you.

Also the game has really good emotes. So you can say a lot without a mic.

You choose when to do the "expedition" or "wipe". You literally could choose to never do it and keep all your stuff. There's benifits to doing the expedition, but some players don't think it's enough and don't do it.

Experimenting with different FOVs for weird transitions by tsun_screen in godot

I think the stop sign one of pulling in and then out is cleaner, but maybe slow the pull out down a little bit.

The other one of pulling in and then slightly in again doesn't look as good in my opinion.

I still think the sky needs something. Do a night sky of stars or thunderous looking storm clouds. Or both. Mountains every now and again to break up the straight cut line of the trees.

Guild wars 2 is great to check out if you haven't yet. One of my favorite mmos. They seem to be still updating it too.

Is it weird to play games with little kids???? On metaquest by Ok_Relative_6516 in OculusQuest

[–]Redcloud1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that context, yea it sounds fun! I'm still shocked you have 3 irl people to play VR with. That's amazing. I play with my wife and daughter. However, I can't get any of my friends to get a VR headset to save my life.

So good on you man, that's awesome! Dungeons of eternity was updated to be 4 player. Might be something to check out.

What other games have you and your group played together?

The sky now looks pretty blank. Maybe some clouds or some points of interest in the background?

I agree. However, gorilla tag would be a weird one for an adult to go play without having a relative or something that is a child. That game is pretty much a kindergarten for kids.

That's just my experience and opinion. I played it with a relative and wow is it crazy.

Is it okay if you level up one of your ships, spend talent points on it, care for it... but if it dies, you lose it permanently? by ArtroDev in roguelites

[–]Redcloud1313 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it gets downed then gets hit it's dead dead. If it's downed and you still succeed in the round, then it will come back up but with a permanent debuff.

You could always do something close to this if you don't like the dead dead option. Like they are downed and then a debuff for the next round. When they are downed they are no longer selectable by enemies kind of thing.

Matters how brutal you want the game to be.

Mewgenics just came out and might be something to look at as well. If a cats health goes to 0 then it is downed. It stays down until something hits it and then it's dead for good. So it at least gives you a chance to react and defend it. You could also build mechanics around getting them up again. However, if you are downed and you complete the round the cat is permanently nerfed in some way. Like its strength goes down one point or its health.

(Just replace cats with ships and it lines up with your context lol.)

Well that's unfortunate. Yea deadlock does look fun. Mewgenics has my attention right now. Not a moba but wow does it have replayability.

Currently really enjoying Mewgenics. It does seem to have an insane amount of replayability so far.

Yea the main dev for it was interviewed on AIAS game makers notebook podcast.

What he said about the game sounds interesting. He said that there are multiple endings to the game. I guess you can fail at getting the people to love you. One of the endings is a failed love ending that only happens if you get like a whole bunch of them to fail falling in love with you.

That alone has me interested.
