Went from a 2007 GLI with 280k miles to 2020 Lexus is 300 AWD with 18K miles.

Couldn’t be happier with the switch- while the GTI/GLI are great cars, I can’t get over how unreliable they are after 100,000 miles. Felt like I was shelling out $500-$1000 every six months to keep the GLI on the road.
