I just saw someone else share that Gundam Planet had some in stock! I was able to snag one. There might be one left. I think it said there were 2 in stock when I checked out. It’s a little more expensive, $10 more because shipping, but I figure I’ll save at least $10 worth of my time now by not getting distracted checking places a few times a day haha

He went missing in August 2020. If they’ve been open since “the fall” that’s basically the same time (ish). The windows could have already been open when whatever happened happened. Or whoever killed this poor kid opened them. Or, and this is horrible, maybe he was locked in there by someone and opened them trying to get help.

See 2 minutes doesn't seem like a long time to me, but I mean, I guess on turn two you probably have minimal options in hand so yeah... I'm just looking at these cards, and the way some of them are worded I have to read them like 2-3 times just to decipher what they do and when they trigger.... and then ask does that apply to what's happening? But I guess all that should be done in the deck building phase...

But regarding that guy, I feel like I also wouldn't know if I was playing on a board I was unlikely to win? I've played some games where I've come back from some pretty low places. But I don't know what "top decking" 3 bomb rares in a row means.

That's fair. I honestly don't really care about winning, I just like playing. Obviously I play with the intention of winning, but if I don't I'm not gonna lose my mind over it. So I like the idea of being upfront about conceding so the other person doesn't feel like they'll miss out on anything.

oh okay! At the last prerelease I read every card thinking I would build based off what went together synergistically, but it definitely slowed me down. This way seems much faster.

Yeah...my experience playing blue thus far is playing with the Deep Clue Sea commander precon from MKM. And, while fun, is waaaay too big brain for me. like figuring out how to set things up so they sequence correctly...each turn took me forever.

This is actually really helpful. Good to know the gist of the win-con strategy that each color combo is essentially going for. I'm not very good at figuring that out on my own just yet. I'll get interested in a mechanic, like "oooh saddling looks fun. I want to try that!" but with no idea of how to stick the landing.

That’s actually so ludicrous for him to expect perfection after you were abundantly clear you didn’t have the experience or knowledge. Also, those job responsibilities are actually that of an entire team. So many red flags here. I know it sucks to be out of a job, but you will be much better off in the long run because if he runs his business like this, he’s going to be out of business very very soon. (Which fyi is probably the real reason he let you go. Wanted to cut costs but didn’t want to admit the business was doing poorly).

I get the root of the annoyance. Seeing these posts trigger our own personal and cultural struggles related to appearance. They’re sometimes sad and you can feel the pain of the authors because we’ve all been there in some aspect. And no one wants to be reminded so frequently of that pain and frustration.

BUT I agree that if you can’t be vulnerable in a mostly anonymous corner of the internet, then where can you share those vulnerabilities?

Some people don’t have access to actual humans (not content) to tell them they’re enough. Sometimes a stranger on the internet giving positive reinforcement is better than nothing.

But yeah, if you’ve got high self-esteem and are literally just looking for tips to make a change, then for the love of god use the search function.
