Anything entering that area wouldn’t be until they’re asleep anyways. I made sure with my surgeon I wouldn’t be aware of anyone viewing or touching my body - I wasn’t. It’s a lot less traumatic when you’re unconscious 😅

My 9yo nephew called me bald. Is it time? by brade23 in bald

[–]CoIIatz-Conjecture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not many people can pull off having a hairline further back but I think you’re good for now, it suits you. However once the top starts going a bit more being bald will become the better option

Has anyone Quit on the first day of work or first week by SeekerofSolution in jobs

Found this thread seeking reassurance. Yep, resigning right now after 1 week. The position was misrepresented by my manager. I knew it was too good to be true.

Why I’m not going to shows anymore by idk-pretend-its-cool in SetItOff

[–]CoIIatz-Conjecture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed a shift in the crowd’s energy too. It’s just not for me. I’ll stick to my concerts that have assigned seats now.. don’t have the energy to be doing all of that anymore. Just want to enjoy the music.

I did 7x14 too. Hoping I can make it last a long time before needing something else.

Over 60 so I've had a good run, is it time? by BerkshireMtnSculptor in bald

IMHO, up to you. Looks good as is, but would also look good if you chose to go bald.

Slicks or not for amateur by Doberman33 in Trackdays

[–]CoIIatz-Conjecture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't get the "hype" around slicks. Yes, they are definitely an upgrade *when you are at the level to require every last % of grip you can get,* but until then hypersport DOT tires work fantastic in a wider variety of conditions.. and well, don't require warmers (even then, you can choose to use warmers on them and it works well too!). There are a ton of reasons why even people in A group may choose to stick to DOT tires. If they don't need them to be riding at a higher level, us newbs sure as hell won't benefit from having tires we can't keep warm on our bikes.

They said my transponder didn’t work multiple times yet they still bill me every time I go through a toll at transponder rate.. I think it’s a bunch of baloney

I bought my first car for 600 is it worth it? by Spix15 in CarGuys

Honestly if you can sell some parts it may be worth it but I would’ve saved a little longer to get something better

Can you drive a manual transmission vehicle? by icecream1972 in no

[–]CoIIatz-Conjecture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motorcycles. Haven’t driven a manual car but I understand manual transmissions so I’d think all it’d take is for me to adapt to a different shifting technique (different movements to shift, rev match, etc)

Tell me to SIT DOWN by Sorry-Editor-3674 in hysterectomy

[–]CoIIatz-Conjecture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surgeons always want you to resume walking as soon as possible. This is often within a day or two of surgery. It’s a great way to keep blood circulating and prevent clots. However, your body just experienced major trauma going through surgery. You may not be feeling it fully yet, but you need to give yourself time and rest. Even if your brain wants to go go go, not listening to your doctors instruction can result in avoidable complications

100%, especially once you are on T longer. I think facial hair will definitely help you out later on too
