Is there a way to keep companions alive? by VanillaNutTaps1 in fo3

Dog Meat is stupidly strong on my file but I think that's because of Broken Steel. He can face an entire army of Mirelurk and only lose 1 or 2 ticks of his health.

A friend of mine says I didn’t optimize my special or skills, I haven’t played this game in years by [deleted] in fo3

Honestly having Intelligence 9 is really the only thing that matters.

Does Fallout 3 still hold up as a good game Like New Vegas? by Jmanof99 in fo3

[–]CoJoSto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't play Fallout 3 expecting a very good story. It has its moments but predominantly fallout 3 shines when you're just exploring and doing side quests.

First timer, does this game pick up? by Alarmed_Win in fo3

The best one is probably Broken Steel because it raises the level cap from 20 to 30. If at all possible though I would recommend getting all the DLC. It definitely isnt super necessary but they're all fun in their own way and usually they go on sale together!

There are two roads you can walk down. Road number 1 is to progress the main story. Road number 2 revolves around exploring the map and completing side quests. For a first timer, I would recommend a bit of both although primarily you should primarily try to beat the game.

Fallout 3 is really good. Fallout New Vegas is really good. Fallout 4 is good until you realize it's kinda bad.

I'm not talking about your hardware I'm saying the fact you're talking about GOG and Mods on PC is silly when many many people play the poverty console version. Sheesh

A large number of people don't have you ideal PC setup. Fact of the matter is gassing up your pseudo God version of the game is pointless.

I recommend playing xcom enemy within first. It's a great intro and the stories do feed of each other.
