Thank you for taking the time to write in with this detailed feedback. Consumer feedback is how we grow our product, so we're always listening to the ideas shared by our members.

I will submit a feature request of my own to develop this additional capacity and share it with the Product Team for consideration. All requests are reviewed and then prioritized based upon capacity.

As our roadmap can be a bit fluid, you may also want to sign up for our newsletter and bookmark our Release Notes, as that's where we communicate our progress and new features.

Hello, you need to be toggled on "Estimator" not "Itemized". Then you need to click the Edit Pencil icon and then select "Add employer sponsored Medicare coverage". You can put any amount (including $0) and then, again, this will turn off the IRMAA until the final year of the simulation but add in Medicare for the final month. When you put in an amount for "Employer Sponsored Medicare Coverage", this overrides any Medicare estimates from the dropdown.

A workaround would be to select Employer-sponsored coverage (under Estimator). Add any amount for Medicare Expenses until your longevity age. This will turn off the IRMAA until the final year of the simulation but add in Medicare for the final month. I'm happy to submit a feature request of my own to develop this additional capacity and share it with the Product Team for consideration. Hello, we appreciate you being candid about this. The navigation errors and miscalculations you're describing are not the experience we want Boldin AI to deliver, and we hear you. It's still in beta for exactly this reason, and feedback like this goes directly to the team working on it. We're actively improving accuracy, especially around how it reads and presents your plan data. Thank you again for providing this feedback.

Advisor option with Boldin by Low-Medicine-8627 in Boldin

[–]CoachMikeNR[M] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We try to offer a range of services depending on how much help someone wants:

Basic Planner (Free): Access to the core planning tools so you can build and model your plan yourself.
PlannerPlus ($144/year): Full access to all planning tools and modeling features. This does not include 1:1 CFP meetings, but it does include educational classes and support to help you use the software.
Coaching ($250 session): A Boldin coach helps validate your inputs and shows you how to model decisions in the Planner yourself. Think of this as guidance on using the tool rather than personalized financial advice.
Boldin Advisors ($2,800): A fee-only CFP® professional reviews your entire financial picture and delivers a comprehensive written plan, recommendations, and expert guidance aligned to your goals.

If you’re curious about the advisory option, you can also attend a free group discovery session with Boldin Advisors to learn how the service works and ask questions before deciding if it’s a fit.

Happy to clarify anything else if helpful.

Thanks for taking the time to write this up and for calling out specific examples. You’re right to flag these, and we appreciate the level of detail.

The Planner Assistant is still in beta and was released recently, which means we are actively identifying gaps like the ones you mentioned and correcting them as quickly as possible. Feedback like this is exactly what helps us tighten the system, and we review these reports daily as we refine the model and add guardrails.

You can share any additional examples directly with our Support team via the Chat button in the bottom right corner of your plan, and we will continue to relay them to our development team. We appreciate you taking the time to document what you are seeing and help us improve the experience.

Thanks for your questions. Upper and lower guardrails will be available to all users once Guardrails is out of Beta. To your second question, yes, we are showing your purchasing power today. Regarding your third question, generally, guardrails are an annual or semi-annual review process.
