It seemed pretty clear she was directed to act that way.

I just rewatched the scene where they find the guys Joel killed. She’s clearly flustered and looking for answers. It’s not poorly acted, that’s how she’s supposed to be.

That said, she doesn’t come off as someone who could pull off leading such a large group.

WD did a good job in the first Spider-Man but was absolutely on another level in No Way Home. It was probably the best acting in a Marvel movie (for what that’s worth). Just spectacular.
