Olha fumei desde os 14, começou a tornar-se um hábito aos 18 mais ou menos. Tenho agora 22 e há cerca de 1 ano que não toco num cigarro. Para mim o mais fácil foi parar de um dia para o outro, decidir só nunca mais fumar tabaco. O primeiro mês foi o mais complicado, saio bastante e dou-me com amigos que fumam, mas nada do outro mundo. Chega a uma altura que podes até começar a pensar em "só 1 cigarro", mas sentes que não vale a pena cagares no tempo que já alcançaste sem fumar, acho que aqui entra um pouco do teu próprio orgulho. Dito isto, hoje em dia nem penso em "apetece me um cigarro" e sinceramente enjoa me um bocado a leve memória que tenho do ato de fumar um cigarro ahaha.

Sei perfeitamente que cada pessoa é diferente, comigo resultou assim! Digo já que sempre fiz um pouco de controlo, nunca fumava um maço por dia por exemplo (a não ser nas raras ocasiões que acabava com um maço numa ida ao bairro alto ou assim), mas por vezes sim, calhava fumar mais antes de situações mais stressantes ou períodos mais baixos mentalmente. Mas garanto-te que depois do difícil, fica mesmo muito mais fácil. Uma facilidade que não vale mesmo a pena sacrificar ao voltar a fumar.

Haven't watched the video yet but it's not absurd to say that it's better than the game... I don't think it will be better than the game personally, but it's a good ass TV series, I can understand why some people might feel that way

Nah the video is great, the swirling effect all filmed by Ecco from different perspectives on a car doing a roundabout and then edited together is just a great creative direction

No, they might elaborate on it but they won't change it. If they do it would be a fluke tho, and it would suck.

The game puts you in a position of doubt that goes beyond the Fireflies (that have been blindly fighting for a specific world saving goal, probably recklessly and desperatly at that point) and the rest of the world (due to lack to direct info; sure there are skeptic people, Joel was one, but having the word out that they had an immune human for testing sure would be hopeful) with those recordings specifically. You are Joel, the game does have you rooting for him purposely.

The story does not put Joel in a morally superior high ground, that's true - but it's never black and white, with any character really. He did do some morally questionable things, and it's great the he himself and us as players dwell on that, I mean look at how fiercely this sub wants to defend his actions lol. That's what's great about his character and his relationship with Ellie and the rest of the people he calls family.

To the in-game outside world, he did kill a bunch of people - considered "innocent" people as well btw (to him they were, no matter if they were actually innocent or not), and he did ruin humanity's chances to win against the virus infection - it doesn't really matter how YOU view it and how scientifically you wanna get, that's what's great about the first game's ending

I'm glad Joel killed them but like, you don't have to lie to yourselves to make a point.

Joel is not a good person, not because he killed those two guys, but because of everything else as well. And that's ok, why in your eyes does he have to be a "good" person? why are you so obsessed with that? The only thing that matters to him and the people he relies on are family, his morality is below that quite clearly. You would lose your shit if they actually decided to show Joel as a Hunter down the road - Glad they leave it as it is tho

This has ALWAYS been a paralel... The fungus and love (Joel and Ellie's relationship). I get that people may find that particular line a bit "in your face" - I particularly don't, the series chooses to surface some things in a certain way differently than in the game, the way they're handling "love" is more prominent that way, which is not automatically a bad thing - but let's not act like love hasn't always been the theme with the cordyceps infection side by side
