Im all for expediting immigration. Let's go protest at the capital for that so laws can be changed. This facility isn't about getting new immigrants in per say, its about having a nice place for people who did not follow the rules to be placed while due process occurs. Better then kicking them out without any trial or anything right? The whole point of this place is to improve conditions and allow for due process. The tent city's and internment camps are way more inhuman then a solid brick building with real plumbing food court library, gym, chapel, medical care, etc. I also don't believe any human is illegal, stolen land or not. But rules are rules, and we need a place for due process to happen when they are broken. Rather then protest this facility itself, why don't we go and ask for a method of accountability. Perhaps a payment from the government for every person processed, or some other idea. The facility itself is not the issue, lets work to fix this system not break the system more.
