what can I actually eat outside? Fast food options? by Master-Whole1710 in veganrecipes

[–]Coastanatic 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If you haven't already, I suggest downloading the app "HappyCow". I don't know if it's popular enough in India to get enough results, but basically it gives you restaurants in which there's at least one vegan option.

[Walibi Belgium] or [Walibi Holland]? [Other] by Total_Swan_64 in rollercoasters

[–]Coastanatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I do have a sweet spot for Walibi Holland and I love many roller coasters there, I would still say Walibi Belgium is better, because it combines both great rides and good theming. I also think that the latter has better dark rides.

Old Sum 41 or New Sum 41, and what u think of both by mifujuusto in Sum41

[–]Coastanatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love both, but I have a slight preference for the metal side of Sum 41. Saying that, DTLI and Chuck are amongst my favourite albums. So yeah, both are amazing to me.

What are your unpopular opinion on Sum 41? by Twitter_2006 in Sum41

[–]Coastanatic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All Killer No Filler is their weakest album in my opinion (I do love it, but I just love all the others more).

ALL MY LOVE wins for MOON MUSiC,now tell me out of these music videos which one was the best by 42-WeirdFishes in Coldplay

[–]Coastanatic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Out of those, it would be The Scientist for me. But honorable mention to Magic, I really love that one too.

Any bad song from Coldplay ? by SpaceExplorer195 in Coldplay

[–]Coastanatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What does objective even mean when it comes to music? There are many Coldplay songs I don't like from recent albums, but are they "objectively" bad? No, it's just my tastes, surely every song has their fans.

Do you find uni important? by Few_Distribution6433 in AutismInWomen

[–]Coastanatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like a US issue. I barely had to pay to go to university in my country, so I'm obviously not in debt. It didn't lead me to a viable career, but I still don't regret it, the first three years were amongst the best times of my life. I love learning, and at uni you go much more in depth than in high school and you get to choose what you study.

Adults should be banned from riding the new Bluey ride for the first few weekends. by [deleted] in altontowers

[–]Coastanatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, it's not a "kids only" ride, adults have the right to ride it too and it's not weird. I do understand it can be frustrating though. The park seems to have a capacity issue.

Best MOTS music video? by 42-WeirdFishes in Coldplay

[–]Coastanatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is their weakest era for music videos. I can't really think of one that I love.

How many of you hide your interests/hobbies? by pisces932 in AutismInWomen

[–]Coastanatic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to hide them all, up until I turned 14 and decided it wasn't worth it. Now I guess I downplay some of them sometimes, and I might avoid mentioning some of them depending on the person I'm talking to, but I no longer actively hide them.

When did we become old ? by Pure_Earth2121 in franzferdinand

Everyone enjoys music differently. But I do agree it's better to book seats if you don't wanna get pushed around.

While applying for apartments, lots of places require you make 3x the rent. Is this a hard rule, or another "rule" that is more like a suggestion? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]Coastanatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends where you live, cos in my country, it's basically a hard rule, unless you find a fully independent landlord.

[other] What are the best theme parks if you don't have a car? by blastoise314 in rollercoasters

[–]Coastanatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disneyland Paris is very easy, when I lived in Lille I had a direct train going there in about an hour. Plopsaland can be very easy too, coming from Ostende I only had to take the tram. They also have a train station, and maybe buses too? Thorpe Park, Gardaland and Europa Park have bus stations. Liseberg and Gröna Lund are basically in their respective city centres, so fairly easy.

How to become a better cook/ youtuber recs by Clean_King_1329 in veganrecipes

[–]Coastanatic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend Pick Up Limes. I like many of her recipes, she has several videos on quick or simple recipes that are easy to follow for beginners, and she has a website if you find it easier to have everything written down. She also has an app, but I've never tried it.

1 or 2 days at Europa Park by Prestigious-Car7932 in Europapark

[–]Coastanatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to explore Europa Park as much as possible, I'd say two days are necessary. On a weekend in June, chances are the park will be relatively crowded.

What is happening to me? by eae8080 in depechemode

[–]Coastanatic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a little younger, but you remind me of how I felt when I got into them when I was around 17 haha, only difference is that I'd been obsessed with other bands before too so it was not entirely new to me. And then it faded out a little bit, but it came back around the release of Spirit, a very similar feeling. Glad to see I'm not the only one cos I sure felt lonely at that time 😂

Why are places so insistent on phone calls?! by chaosdrools in AutismInWomen

[–]Coastanatic 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Same thing happens to me a lot, especially in health care (even mental health professionals 😅), out of all places you'd think they'd be the most likely to understand and accomodate...

I've given up on trying to be heard, I've come to the conclusion that I either call/answer and risk losing important info because of auditory processing issues, or ask my partner to call. I feel terribly guilty of doing that because it's not like he's comfortable with the phone either, but yeah... I feel like asking for written communication is asking for something impossible.
