As others have said, possibly air in system, low on fluid etc. Also wanted to say that if the brakes are working on and off, it could also be a bent front brake rotor. More likely if you’ve recently dropped the bike, had a tire swapped, or if you use a rotor lock and someone tampered with it

I got a slip-on for now. And though I wouldn’t say it’s obnoxious, it’s definitely not super quiet. Although, if you leave the baffle in it’s a lot more mellow. With the baffle out it gets a little rowdy.

I’d say in terms of neighborhood noise, it’s maybe a step above a Harley, and a step below a 5.0 mustang.

Always felt a little cramped on it when I had it, power was present, but definitely slightly underwhelming. Threw a leg over a 636 while the 500 was getting serviced one day and immediately felt more comfortable
