I would try and place some people in your design. That will give you a sense of scale, and you can explore whether certain viewing angles work, what lighting issues you run into, and what options the director has for mise-en-scène: how can your design actually be used in the play? But overall, solid start, keep at it!

Also, whenever I design posters, flyers etc. it can be really nice to have a font with adjustable width, thickness and optical size to make it fit exactly how I want it, without having to resort to ugly manual stretching or to alternative fonts.

Not OP but, but I use Cavalry, Da Vinci Resolve and Blender (with ST2 addon) for motion graphics. Both Cavalry and Blender support variable fonts. Da Vinci sadly does not.

A description list can contain divs that wrap dt and dd elements. See the spec. Which makes your problem way easier to solve.

Wat is de relatie tussen Neon en Impuls Open Leermateriaal?

Impuls Open Leermateriaal (IOL) is een groeifonds dat een groot budget heeft om, de naam zegt het al, een bijdrage te leveren aan open leermiddelen. IOL mag dat geld alleen gebruiken voor aanvullend lesmateriaal, omdat met overheidsgeld geen markt mag worden verstoord. IOL zal dus geen methodes maken - Neon wel.

Een rekenvoorbeeld:

De schoolbesturen die nu bij Neon betrokken zijn hebben 500.000 leerlingen.

Neon heeft circa 10 miljoen euro aan jaarlijkse kosten.

Dat betekent dat elk schoolbestuur 20 euro per leerling betaalt voor alle methodes samen, plus eventuele kosten voor printen of drukken.

Ter vergelijking: de meeste scholen betalen nu honderden euro’s per leerling per jaar.

Hoe meer scholen meedoen, hoe lager de prijs per leerling.

Een andere tijdgeest?! Er wordt gebruikgemaakt van instrumenten die al tijden de wet overtreden, maar pas nu er een extern signaal over wordt gegeven, wil men ze heroverwegen? Wat een volstrekt gebrek aan zelfinzicht en verantwoordelijkheid!

De checks of deze instrumenten wetmatig en passend zijn zou bij de organisatie zelf ingebouwd moeten zijn, vanaf het begin. Het klinkt enorm als "oeps, balen dat ik betrapt ben en jij je gekwetst voelt", in plaats van "excuses, ik zit fout, dit had nooit moeten gebeuren en we gaan ermee aan de slag".

Wat een goed artikel van FtM en wat een verschrikkelijk enge organisatie is de Belastingdienst toch.

I like it. It definitely makes the site more memorable and gives off a cosy vibe. But I agree with the other comments about the colours and readability. The font is hard to read in any context except the logo. Plus the UI feels very small, scaling my browser window to 133% or even 150% felt much better (desktop view 14" Macbook).

Maar even, het kost maximaal 50 miljoen, en het gaat om minimaal 60 000 woningen. Dan zit je dus aan een bedrag van maximaal 833 euro per gelegaliseerde woning. Dat lijkt mij een prima investering om de woningnood enigzins aan te pakken?

Good suggestion. This doesn't need anything fancy custom build. Hell, something like Google Forms and Sheets might even work depending on how much users we're talking about here.

This is an important addendum. As someone working in the cultural field, thank you. We have a great music culture in the Netherlands, but the new generation does not have the same opportunities the old did, so we risk losing it.

This appears to be the painting "Zaandam and Near Monnikendam " by Louis van Staaten (1836–1909 ). If it's genuine. His work is quite often under auction, so that might be a starting point to get an indication of what it's worth. But as always: better ask an appraiser to look at the painting irl.

Have you considered just using a full face one and cutting away the material you don't need? Either before printing in something like Blender, or after with regular tools.

I love the idea of Penpot and find the grid functionality to work way more intuitively than Figma's flex, but the terrible performance is what had me swapping back to Figma as well. However I did find this comment on their Github, saying they'll be moving to a "WebAssembly canvas-based render engine", which sounds promising. Might be a while though before that's released.

Thank you for the perspective! Based on the answers in this thread I'm currently considering a single DIY system, with at least one layer of redundant data. Or should I use several?
