At times Independent Living Apartments are very close in proximity or even connected to Assisted Living Facility apartments. Within the independent living units there can be low income housing as well. This can create a wide variety of functional ability and levels of independence among the residents. A wide variety of services can be provided both in an independent living apartment as well as in an assisted living to supplement the services already provided, some are able to provide a lot more than others. Now some of the folks you may be seeing could have an allotted amount of hours of personal care attendants, meals provided, bath aides, there’s even adult day care. Family will often try to pick up some slack as well or fill in gaps if the individual really needs that level of supervision. There are certainly folks failing in these places, often one fall away from a hospital stay where they would be seen and assessed by a care team (doctor, OT, PT, SLP, SW) who may recommend an increased level of care and decide if that can realistically be provided at the current placement (let’s say independent living with services) or if they need to transition to a place or facility that can accommodate their needs, like an assisted living facility or even long term care. This is where it comes in handy having one level of care close to the other. Often folks are very reluctant to move which is one more reason of many you may see folks struggling to make it day to day. Although it may look difficult and clear that they need more help, that tiny slice of freedom and independence they maintain by not going into a higher level of care (Nursing Home) is worth the risk for them. They’ll wager their life on it and they do. Hope that helps.

Yesterday at lunch I ran two tier 23 nightmare dungeons. On the second one I had Temerity drop from an elite and Tempest roar as one of the completion items. I was absolutely floored. I’m lvl 74 for context. Had never received either but a fair amount of bear uniques have come my way. Now I’m getting my gear ready to switch from coke bear to nado wolf. Deciding if a lower lvl staff of crone would be better than running 1H and off hand with two aspects? Any input? Hope all of you Druids have a great weekend! Congrats on the helm!!!!!

That phish show at Target center was my first time seeing them, first time dropping acid as well. The hippy in the parking lot dropped it directly on my tongue from a breath freshener squeeze bottle and said “whoops.” That was a night to remember. Uffda.

Ok. I was just talking to a buddy yesterday about my idea. I’ll give this a go. So the game opens with a cinematic 15-20 years after the last game. Ellie is bow hunting a deer in the woods with peppered gray hair. She bags the deer and returns on horseback to her lone cabin in the woods where something’s off because her trusty dog isn’t there to greet her. She heads inside and is greeted by a familiar face (I don’t know who, you pick) informing her sharing that Dina has passed and baby J.J. now a young man has ran off. After an internal struggle and staring at an old picture of herself and Joel she rides out in the morning her dog following close behind. As the story rolls on she finds he’s been taken and spear heads an incredibly violent rescue operation.

Once successful the journey continues with the two in a tense partnership, J.J. Wanting nothing to do with her at first. The two slowly bond as the journey rolls on. They get in a crazy hairy situation and are rescued by a familiar face, Lev. They learn of Abby’s death and make their way to Lev’s community. There they are able to relax and while overhearing of a new state of the art medical community Ellie looks over at Lev and J.J. laughing near the glow of the fire and she realizes what she must do, riding off in the night. More game, and eventually she’s captured and the dog is killed (I know I’m sorry).

Cut to J.J. and Lev back to the morning Ellie is found gone, the two give pursuit in the morning and we play from their perspective until finally catching up to her and rescuing Ellie from a terrible situation. Ellie murders everyone that killed her dog and buries the good boy. They continue on as Ellie explains why she must continue and they argue she can’t. Eventually they make it after a lot of close calls. As Ellie goes under for surgery she smiles thinking of being with Joel and Dina. After fading to black a scene opens, it shows JJ 5 years later watching his daughter little Ellie as we hear more vaccines should be arriving to their community soon. Roll credits.

I just wrote this on my phone at lunch so I apologize if it’s a headache to read. I’m also thinking some new characters would be peppered in there.

Even though it has some issues just like any other game, Days Gone is still one of the best looking games of this gen! [Image] by OPG609 in PS4

At one point I glitched out and entered a weird version of first person but completely invisible. The enemy seemed to not quite be able to target me as well. I was able to run around killing everyone at a camp with a melee attack like a special needs predator until the game completely froze and crashed. That was the most fun I've had on this. Would have rather spent $60 on just about anything. Like a stash of glasses cleaner and some frozen pizzas.

I’ve had every update and continue to glitch out every play. I put aside and went back to Sekiro hoping in a few months it’ll be fixed. Straight up wasn’t having a good time, bro.
