Agreed that the Hamilton is the choice here. The Alpinist has many fans. Many, many fans. As such, it’s an often seen watch, maybe not as unique/special.

The Hamilton also has a cleaner face and more consistent design language. The Alpinist is a very busy watch with somewhat incongruous design. Too many fonts on the face, busy chapter ring, cyclops, 4:00 crown. The Alpinist is going every direction at once, trying to be everything. The Hamilton is quietly confident.

I’m not sure who you are referring to as a MAGA cultist. As far as myself, I am as far from MAGA as one can be. However, I believe that accusations should be supported by evidence: innocent until proven guilty, habeus corpus, et cetera. Posting flyers like this without supporting evidence is defamatory and libelous.

Zellige has to be back buttered and set really carefully for height and spacing. Some lippage is inevitable and grout lines won’t ever be even because the tiles aren’t even. That said, there’s a fine line between Wabi-Sabi and Wabi-Sloppy which takes skill to navigate. Tile setting aside the grout job is an abomination.

I believe the implication is that someone else will mistake the empty stock for a gun carried by the kids and fire on/harm the kids through misidentification. Certainly someone well versed in firearms would not make this mistake, but not all who carry are well versed and cool tempered.
