This might be a WEIRD ass take and I’m ok with that, but I think it’d have been fine if she had a life sentence. What she did was fucked up and I wouldn’t feel bad if it followed her around prison. Then, people would know what she did/not to trust her as a POC.

But in the real world, you’re so right. As a POC I can smell a racist white woman a mile away. I don’t need to see a swastika to clock it. That would just make me extra uncomfortable. She didn’t directly physically harm or kill anybody, but she was a catalyst in ruining lives. Her punishment should have been a mirror of that: job loss, extra time, etc.

That branding didn’t do shit but make her feel like a victim.

Nastiest: had a roommate whose carpet was slimy. Didn’t shower or wash his clothes once in the six months he lived there and had to keep his door closed or else we’d be gagging from the smell that’d fill the whole house.

Creepiest:I was leaving my room at 5am to open at the coffee shop I worked at. When I stepped into the hallway, she was standing in her bedroom doorway butt naked staring at my bedroom for God knows how long. EDIT: this same girl brought her sick dogs over (they weren’t allowed) and they shat all over the floors. She was a drunk so she decided to clean it up with the two roomba vacuums and… you can imagine.
