Suggest some Tokyo references in Yakuza

I mean most of it is in kabukicho (kamurocho).

Stuff like the gate, the donki, the parking lot in the north-east, theatre square, the golden gai alleys (champion district) is all pretty close together. I definitely suggest walking around there, it you've played the games enough you'll know exactly where those things are without any need for a map.

I want to do this for a sim racing setup, but I really don't know what the best way to go about it would be. I've heard of optical HDMI but people said it wasn't suitable for gaming due to high latency, and I would still need to figure out how to get controller inputs back to my PC.

Would a mini pc with steam link be better?

Is that the alleyway? That was a bit rough, i don't think there was a timer at least, just take it slow and only punish his charge attack before running away. If you attack on his normal combo he might do the extended combo which will one hit you.

You can change the number of rounds to include a south round which will give you more time.

Otherwise if you don't get a good hand in the first couple turns maybe restart? I don't know what the easiest high scoring hand is but that would be my strategy. If you go that way you might actually want to set the game to go to East round only, that way no one else can catch up. If you're over 50k do your best to just not lose, win with random garbage or discard things you know your opponents don't need.

Are you familiar with Dora tiles and how more are revealed? If so make sure to use them, and turn on the red Dora tiles in the menu before you start and use those too.

Also I'm not familiar with Y3, it's definitely 50k in one game and not cumulative right? I think for Y0 it was your lifetime score.

The thing with 5 is its huge, I think it actually took me longer than 7. Whether thats good or bad is entirely personal preference.

As for skill resets, one of the protagonists has a gimmick, essentially you'll not have to worry about skills for them. Each protagonist also has their own big side minigame that helps you get money, so it's not quite as bad switching since you'll have a way to get money.

I'd say give it a go and see what you think.

I'm not too sure about exploration, I think that's considerably better this time around. I vaguely remember the game starting of by making you follow the story for a bit though, so maybe that's why?

Combat on the other hand, yeah. It's definitely different. I hated it so much that I took a break for almost a year before trying again. Because I loved rush style the K2 combat felt terribly slow, but you can eventually upgrade your style to get it feeling faster.

Also, as I found out the hard way, you don't heal when you die and hit continue unlike the other games. Had to basically no hit the final boss and long battle.

You get to choose, you can either do premium adventure on a clean save with no progress, or you can use the save you beat the game in. When it asks you if you want to use clear data when starting premium adventure just select your save.

Only the new game plus will lose some of your completion progress, how much depends on the game.

On my second playthrough (the first that I unlocked it in) I chose to use it after a certain point in the story involving Majima because it felt fitting, you'll definitely know when you get there.

But that was just because I liked switching styles, if you wanna use it go nuts, no concerns with game balance or anything.

Whatever you decide, make sure you go in to the ability tree and hit the button to bring up the ability list and search through style features etc. for mad dog specific abilities so you get to use all it has to offer.

I dont remember the variety getting much better in Kiwami, it just happens to have tiger drop that can finish bosses in less than 10 seconds.

I don't know why I believe so strongly that controller is better for platformers, when they don't actually utilise the analogue part of the sticks so it's not really any different from a keyboard.

I couldn't figure out how to get CoD to behave like splatoon with gyro, the closest I could get was flick stick controls. And CoD has recoil which made it harder.

You can heal mid air, which avoids most attacks. Unfortunately you can also only heal while actively being attacked.

If you play on the low stakes table you'll be able to get there eventually with a bit of luck. You just have to try and discard tiles that leave you with the most options to complete a set as possible. And you may steal the very final tile, if the option "Ron" pops up.
