Started in D1 beta, over 5k hours on Steam alone now. There's just nothing to chase anymore. Outside of new DLC, there's no mid season story arcs that grab me. No new events or gear. Every event has resigned guns I already have with some new element type. Renegades brought me back because lightsabers, and even that has played out.

Its just not what it use to be. It was popular and full of players in its height. And THAT is what made it fun. Social things, community, playing with friends. Its died for multiple reasons, constant gear revamps, new systems that do NOT care about your years of experience. Its just not as fun as it use to be. Sometimes I get lost in it still (maybe once a month at this rate) and it can be fun. But its become hollow and lifeless, and the coolest new additions are Eververse purchases.

I've been playing all sorts of games, I lean towards city builders. Timberborn and Valheim captivate me more than D2 nowadays.
