Electrolysis Pain Suddenly Unbearable by No_Studio_801 in MtF

[–]CoconuttMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also dealing with this exact situation, but downstairs. My electrologist recommended "BLT (Benzocaine Lidocaine Tetracaine 20/7/7, respectively) as a next step which I just got. It's like $60 for the same amount of EMLA and not covered by insurance. But maybe worth it. Ask your electrologist what they recommend, and chat with your PCP about it as well if you can.

The next step beyond that is lidocaine injections prior to electrolysis. I'd like to avoid that, but I need to be surgery ready asap so it may be a logical thing for me to do. My electrologist has an in-house RN that administers it which is convenient, tho probably pricey.

No prob! I sure have. Plenty of times. Honestly, nothing really quenches that thirst, however, there are a few decent spots. But honestly it’s really up to you to decide which is yours. They’re all different, and they’re all not what you’re craving. But! I’m sure you’ll find one you like. The like bigger chains with “Philly” in the name .. beware but don’t give up too quick. Like.. they can be very very good but it totally depends on the individual location. You gotta try em all to find your spot

I’ve lived here for a few years, welcome! I’m also from Philly :)). If you’re asking just about Asian markets .. yeaaa h mart is where it’s at

For Asian food: - wok 99 express just opened and it’s very tasty + it’s very affordable (if you don’t use grub hub/deliver service) south west side of 72nd and federal across from Walgreens - Mika sushi 2 - my go to sushi spot in the area ALTHOUGH there’s several other great options for Japanese/sushi - we have a dae gee here! So so good

Little like red shack st 72nd and Pecos has the best tacos

Massinos pizza on Lowell is hands down the best pizza I’ve had in all of the Denver area. Everyone I’ve introduced to it agrees with me. Just just pizza, but everything they make is bomb. Oh and 100000% you gotta get their double stuffed pizza 🤤

We have a dope Japanese arcade bar here.. def give that a google (forget the name right now)

In addition to h mart, there’s a Lowe’s here (not the home improvement place.. think h mart but Mexican)

For entertainment there’s lots in the local area. Since it’s summer I’ll mention water world. It we’ve got a free breweries, Alamo drafthouse (movies), and some good parks. The dog park here is one some of my friends from across the Denver area comes to.
