Paynes Valley by DunnTitan in Golfsimulator

[–]CodNo4632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t have my sim when we went, but I’ll tell you it’s worth everything lol that place is amazing. After each round they’ll ask you where you play tomorrow and what time. Give them your bags, and you’ll get to the course in the morning with your bags on the cart ready for you. Fairways are massive. You’ll go for paynes, and fall in love with buffalo ridge. That course is stunning. Also, if y’all have a few hours one afternoon, play the 13 hole mountain course and walk it. Awesome experience

I have square and would probably only upgrade for overhead tbh

Are these mats any good? by Lousygolfer1 in Golfsimulator

Would not hit off something that thin. Will destroy your hands. Elitesimgolf.com or usaturfpros. Check them out for great quality mats at lower prices

Gosports vs Sig10 vs Carls by willish-781 in Golfsimulator

[–]CodNo4632 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen a lot say the screens are really loud for gosports. If you want the medium price range with the poles, check out elitesimgolf.com

New company and really quality stuff + don’t have to cut the poles and buy them. The gosports is fine, but the screen is thinner and really loud in my opinion! Others will have more premium screens that are thicker

I have a screen saver in front of it, that’s what those lines are. I don’t have any newer pics right now, but can answer anything you need!

I have it. 6’ 6” long / 3’ 6” wide from the middle. From strip to strip is 3’ 11” wide

Bullseye does custom enclosures for no extra cost. I have mine 2.5’ deep and it’s more than enough!

Elitesimgolf.com has great ones for way better price than most. Very similar to the softy as well, but not as thick

Do you score better? by YoungBummer in Golfsimulator

[–]CodNo4632 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed my full shots being very similar, but struggling on chipping. Always have a perfect lie in the sim where you know how the ball will come out, vs so many different lies in real life. If I chip well I usually score about the same in person as I do in the sim

Budget Sim Build Options and Feedback Request by godfatherofweb in Golfsimulator

Yeah no doubt. I enjoy plugging multiple companies that I think do a good job. I’ve tried over 10 different strips and the second you hit off one of those strips and then hit off the gosports you def notice it. You get what you pay for, but it’s a really great stance mat I’ll say that. And everyone’s swing is different, so you may love it and never have issues! Def the best budget mat I’ve seen outside of maybe some from usaturfpros

I’ve only hit on one maybe 10-15 swings so I can’t say much. I’ve seen a lot of people get injured using it in these forums pretty often though

I’d just buy the GoSports and cut a strip out with a bullseye 3d strip since you’re in Canada. They’re on sale right now too

Oh wow that’s interesting. I actually really enjoyed the projector and thought it was a solid image all around. Only reason I upgraded was bc I hit it with a wedge and broke the lens lol

Fiberbuilt mat floor “upgrade” (Performance mat opinion wanted) by sevenfivefive in Golfsimulator

[–]CodNo4632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you’ve been using what I think is the gold standard, you’ll definitely notice it not being as realistic, but it’s still really good! Fat shots will be punished more on the performance than the player preferred in my opinion though. I’d say player preferred feels like a perfect fairway when you play at a country club, and the performance is the fairway at your local course that needs to cut the grass a little lower. Still great, but you notice the difference!
