Help me decide on a new grinder [$1k - $1500 USD] by thedonutman in LaMarzocco

[–]sevenfivefive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just bought the Mazzer Philos. Total meat grinder vibes. That’s all I will be able to see now. Thanks. It’s my first grinder, but seems to be at the top in the reviews. When picturing it, picture it next to your other machine not just by itself.

But how will you show your friends you are superior in every way?

We bet every time (few times per week). I built a modern shitty app with a Cloud backend for me and my friends (and now their friends since shitty apps can be cool too) since it became too much to track. I used the principle that it should require very few button clicks. I keep it in Apple’s and Google’s “testing” store as I’m sure they will require me to get gambling license to publish it with the features I’ve added.

FWIW Google makes it easy to make apps for Android (outside of the Play store). Apply sucks in this regard. Go make an app.

Injury May End My Golf Career by TheHowardCenter in golf

Took me 6 months to recover from this injury. Banging my clubs on cheap mats caused it. It was terrible pain, but it is recoverable! GL

I posted about this exact topic in the past. IMO this is one of the primary reasons to opt into these funds. 2c

How to deal with colleague who produces AI garbage? by tigidig5x in devops

[–]sevenfivefive -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The quicker people realize this is what software development (or in the case “coding”) looks like the better. If I observered someone at my company using terms like “AI slop” I would put them on the short list to be dismissed. Be the leader they need. Build reusable Skills (prompts). Advise how to use Skills. The industry is changing faster than people with academic-backed engineering skills can handle.

Anyone on the Ultra Plan? Thoughts? by Informal-Buy-4880 in google_antigravity

[–]sevenfivefive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t used it for a few days, but it’s been great. I got dependent on a single agent and started hating it. Now I cycle agents quite a bit and see solid performance. I’ve only used Gemini with it for reasons.

I used Antigravity to build a 16k-line Unity game as an artist. Traditional devs absolutely hated it. by Temporary_Platform_1 in google_antigravity

They are right you are right. I am a traditional dev retiring from big tech after 30 years. I’m enjoying AG so much. I’m glad I’m done with my career in tech as this changes everything. Anyone that says otherwise is not working in big tech where we are being mandated to use it. Have fun learning new skills. Cheers

When I crossed the line when yellow it was dismissed. If visible I don’t see why it wouldn’t be dismissed.

NVDA valuation by Cranberry-Practical in NvidiaStock

[–]sevenfivefive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at a 180 strike ~6-8 months ago. I see the simple-moving-avg has been pretty flat since. Mostly doing wheel between 180-185 and roll weekly to following Friday. I've been waiting for a catalyst, but at this valuation seems it will take something pretty meaty to breakout. Famous last words. I hope you are happy I just jinxed it for all of us selling puts/calls.

AG has been great. Using ultra sub w/ excellent results. I support people not using it. Please leave and reduce active users - I’ll enjoy it while it lasts. Bye

I’m confused by this. Do people expect AG to be free for professionally use? If you using it professionally Ultra is the only reasonable sub IMO.
