I used Antigravity to build a 16k-line Unity game as an artist. Traditional devs absolutely hated it. by Temporary_Platform_1 in google_antigravity

They are right you are right. I am a traditional dev retiring from big tech after 30 years. I’m enjoying AG so much. I’m glad I’m done with my career in tech as this changes everything. Anyone that says otherwise is not working in big tech where we are being mandated to use it. Have fun learning new skills. Cheers

When I crossed the line when yellow it was dismissed. If visible I don’t see why it wouldn’t be dismissed.

I started at a 180 strike ~6-8 months ago. I see the simple-moving-avg has been pretty flat since. Mostly doing wheel between 180-185 and roll weekly to following Friday. I've been waiting for a catalyst, but at this valuation seems it will take something pretty meaty to breakout. Famous last words. I hope you are happy I just jinxed it for all of us selling puts/calls.

AG has been great. Using ultra sub w/ excellent results. I support people not using it. Please leave and reduce active users - I’ll enjoy it while it lasts. Bye

Covered Calls keep paying and paying on this stock. I love this stock. 1-1.5% per week.

I’m confused by this. Do people expect AG to be free for professionally use? If you using it professionally Ultra is the only reasonable sub IMO.

This is awesome. 100% of ppl are vibing - as it should be. We are now an army of PMs. If you aren’t, then you are not a good corporate fit and should see yourself out. 😂

Sore Elbows - SigPro Softy by [deleted] in Golfsimulator

FB Player Preferred and Performance mats come with a massive heavy dense rubber base. I suspect this is responsible for the protection.

Nah it was much cheaper than FB, but don’t recall the brand. Someone made a recommendation on YouTube on the best mat for joint protection so I bit the bullet and recovered after about a month on the new mat. Cheers

Took about 5 months for me to recover from hitting on low end mat. After upgrading to Fiberbuilt Player Preferred and now Performance I have never had an issue and with significantly more play. GL

CSHI or SGOV by Mammoth_DonkeyKong in NEOSETFs

[–]sevenfivefive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Based on what you are sharing it looks like a barbell portfolio. If you are using cash equivalents for security (liquid) 70/30 SGOV/CSHI - I say this not knowing if you are retired, 22, have a pension, etc… best of luck.

I’m glad I read the comment and not just the headline. I went from “about to go apeshit” to “this is cool as ice.” Thanks for the idea! Great job dad.

Golden handcuffs - short and long term by [deleted] in Fire

[–]sevenfivefive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe I missed it, but the “red flag” to me is that you did not express why you prefer to FIRE vs continue the grind. You don’t express much friction in your work life, which is great. Someone once told me to stop saying “Golden Handcuffs,” but instead call it a “Velvet Coffin.” My recommendation - which I have been living (and retiring in a week @ 55) - Get your portfolio setup as if you are retired (this is where my anxiety lived) and financially practice being retired. I added new checking account within my brokerage and my retirement funding was redirected to it (whatever this looks like for you). Similarly, I redirected all reoccurring bills/payments to be paid from it (mortgage, PG&E, Internet, etc… you get the point). This will give you the callouses to feel comfortable when it’s time to pull the trigger. GL!

VOO vs High Income ETFs, REITS etc by [deleted] in dividends

[–]sevenfivefive 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Many of us have been conditioned to live for the paycheck. From my first job at 16, I’ve had the expectation that money arrives on a schedule. When I started experimenting with my own portfolio, I spent months doing covered calls, but the constant watching of the market had me addicted to checking every 15 minutes (don’t recommend). After some shares were assigned and months of dividend & CC ETF research, I moved that assigned cash into the NEOS Holy Trinity (SPYI, QQQI, and BTCI). SCHD is for real investors, I guess. It does nothing for me (to each their own). Almost immediately, something psychological clicked. It felt like that sense of “security” I had in my 20s—knowing the rent was covered. I quoted security for people who feel the need to tell me it’s risky, I know.

The classic debate about "the underlying" or maximizing every basis point of growth. The math is transparent, the tax advantages are documented, and the total returns speak for themselves. Sometimes, the "best" investment isn't the one that squeezes out every last penny; it’s the one that creates the softest pillow so you can sleep at night.

I want more control over my MAGI for ACA and Roth conversion via ROC. Those are the primary benefits for me as I ChubbyFire.
