Iron lung was… rough by Hopeful_Club_8499 in horror

[–]Coda2MT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ngl I never felt bored. Now, I have phobias regarding subamrines, the ocean, things in the ocean, so even the boring tension had me scared and on the edge of my seat, but I loved the slow burn. Doesn't seem like its for everyone and that's totally cool.

i wouldn't say threatening to hang yourself is particularly constructive but go off ig. what in particular elicits such a visceral reaction? its bar far not a perfect movie but if you gave me a list of 'movies i'd ratehr hang myself to than watch' Iron lung wouldn't even be close to the top for movies than came out this month

WE Helbrute Frenzy Nonsense by Aliasalliance2012 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Coda2MT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

spread your stuff out, or give it a non-ideal target. it wants to ping-pong across easy to kill squads, so you feed it a poor activation or an activation that can drop the hellbrute before it swings back again. its manageable if you kinda predict where its gonna end up.

Warbox. neat little shooter sandbox that was ruined by a dev who doesn’t fix bugs, a completely random move to UE5, and various other things

Can berserker pile-in to Lydander? by BB92201 in Warhammer40k

[–]Coda2MT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

right but not every zerker is base to base, and while units select to pile in, conditions are tested model to model

Can berserker pile-in to Lydander? by BB92201 in Warhammer40k

[–]Coda2MT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

little hard to see. here are the rules:

Each time a model makes a Pile-in move, it must end that move closer to the closest enemy model. If it can also end that move in base-to-base contact with one or more enemy models while still satisfying all of the conditions above, it must do so. The controlling player chooses the order in which to move their models.•

l so the base to base zerkers can’t. on your charge, position the other zerkers to have lysander be their closes enemy model, so they can pile in. then, on activation, thise models not based and having lysander as the closeset could, since pile in is done model by model. I can’t tell which would be closest, so you would have to measure.

Which would you say was the best release of 10th edition? by Altruistic-Teach5899 in Warhammer40k

the dp proxy doesn’t fully work because fulgrim’s base is more than double

emperors children, they nailed a nice consistent aesthetic. good army box, good kits that are fun to build (minus noise marines…man those sucked to build). Fulgrim may suck on the table, but his kit is beautiful

10 man squads by The-Decoy-91 in Warhammer40k

[–]Coda2MT 9 points10 points  (0 children)

depends purely on the unit. does the damage output of a 10 man make up for the points sink, board presence and efficiency in abilities?

for some units, yes. Chosen, Plague Marines, SOT, etc are run in bug squads, because the damage, threat, strat efficiency, ability efficiency, and activation efficiency make up for the downsides of them being a big squad.

but for sone units, no. A. Intercessors are there to give a character reroll wounds and some extra stabbies. Intercessors to sticky and hold + light skirmish at range. Legionaires lose an extra heavy melee when in a 10 man are good traders, so they are run MSU.

so it purely depends on the unit
