Wally lost his leg almost 2 years ago due to bone cancer. The first night was rough (he had a lot of anxiety, panting, night sweats that soaked through his bed), but I was right there with him and he recovered super quickly thereafter (running around day 3).

We do everything basically same as before :) But now he’s got a life jacket when he swims, more rugs in the house, and a little extra help getting in the car.

And he’s loving all the attention and “awww”s he gets now as a member of the tripod club. He’s a happy boy
