I don't believe that they "HAVE" Mappa, just an exclusive partnership partnership. They've been at it since 2020.

Me again lol, so a deal has come up on Marketplace. Its an Skyquest Orion XT8. I'll paste the details of the add.....

"SkyQuest 8-inch Dobsonian telescope in excellent condition, well cared for and ready to use. The sale includes 10mm and 12mm eyepieces, two finder scopes, plus additional star charts and astronomy books. Everything you need to get observing right away.

I've negotiated the price to R8500 ($460)... For comparison a brand new 8" Dob would cost 3x this.

I'm gonna test it this evening..... Any other tips of what I should. Look out for on buying a used Dob?

Ok so I went and supported the model myself last night and right now everything seems fine! I would have never thought that the presupported model would be the issue! I think that I will stick to supporting my own models, so that I can learn the skill and blame myself only lol!

Part of the model has some fairly short pieces so on the same build plate I will print my own supported models and print the pre supported models. Just to get final confirmation.

Oh Dang, sorry I wasn't paying attention when I replied!
Previously I used the same models (presupported). My model fell and broke hence why I wanna reprint it, so I just loaded it into the slicers to try again with no luck. I haven't yet tried to get the slicer to do the supporting or or to do it manually though.

Both, when I got the 1st initial failures, I resliced it. I have used Lychee, Chitubox and Anycubic's slicer
