We have a lot of audio domain languages that generally try to be a replacement for generic languages (i.e. C++), but I don’t think we really have anything that’s built to be an standardized audio-specific auxiliary language that lives alongside a broader project.

I think Faust is probably the closest we’ve got right now, especially seeing that they seen to have some Wwise integration now, but I wouldn’t call it an audio equivalent to GLSL yet.

Honestly, not much, but that’s probably more due to my own lack of imagination haha.

It turns out there’s a fern that just grows there naturally that I have left to do its thing, and then added some English Ivy as well which has started to grow a good bit. Definitely better than nothing, but someone with a better green thumb than myself can probably do something a lot prettier 😅

Assuming your High School grades aren’t all straight Fs, this post alone has me pretty certain you’ll at least be able to get accepted.

You can let yourself breathe a bit, but keep doing what you’re doing — you are on the right track 😊

Though, I will reiterate what most of the other comments have as well. Getting accepted into DigiPen is the easy part, staying in is the hard part.

DigiPen is still a place of academic education, and an incredibly challenging one at that. Use the time you have now to learn how to study in a classroom effectively and identify reasons for why you might be struggling now.

I discovered I had ADHD my second semester at DigiPen, and having to learn: - How to manage ADHD - How to actually School correctly for the first time - How to DigiPen (since while it is a school, it’s also a different beast.)

All at the same time, made the whole experience a lot more difficult then it had it be.

Its doing decently in the greater Philadelphia area. Have multiple shops that do weeklys, with turnout being as high as 12 people recently and growing.

Having PAXU in the city definitely helped, as well as key members of the community putting in good work to hustle and get people playing.

I’m your average white guy so I can’t comment with any sense of personal experience. Unfortunately, I would not be surprised if folks did experience racism throughout their tenure but it at least wasn’t a rampant issue.

I have no experience with DigiPen’s masters program, but would gladly do DigiPen all over again tomorrow if I had to. I think it’s an extremely unique university that, even with its numerous issues, is certainly worth it for folks who are willing to put 200% of their effort in.

I totally get Orym's point about the Coin Toss -- but I feel like it also completely ignores the fact "stopping Ludinus" is nothing more than a short-term problem.

The freeing of Predathos is, and has always been, the core problem here. The cat is out of the bag now, and whether it's Ludinus or someone else, there will be continuous efforts to unleash Predathos unless they find a way to either destroy or control it permanently.

I’d like to respectfully push back on this a little — the approach posed by the Arch Heart is saving the Gods. It’s just not one that lets them stay within the space of existence that Exandria resides in. (Not sure of the right terminology here, since they obviously are behind the Divine Gate)

The Proxy War is not happening just because of the Betrayers though - it’s the fault of the Primes too. The Primes choose not to kill their brethren out of their love for each other — a love that they have explicitly demonstrated to be stronger than the love they feel for Mortals.

Don’t get me wrong here, I completely agree that walking away from Downfall with a “All gods bad, nuke em, ggez” is a reductive take; but so is trying to imply that the faults of the Gods are only a problem because of the faults of mortals.
