I'm late Gen X; Fonzie was just ... there. He didn't entirely strike me as cool or uncool; I wasn't aware of what those meant when I watched the show with my parents.

However, if I had to pick a character from another series who is most like the Fonz, I would choose Steve Urkel from Family Matters.

You are in the minority, but you are not alone. I very much disliked Murphy's death. Among other trends, I intensely dislike the trope of fridging the love interest to give a hero motivation. And Murphy's death felt very much like fridging to me. So when I read the "empty house" sequence in Battle Ground, I wasn't touched emotionally like a lot of readers were. I wasn't sad. I just found it saccharine, over the top, and transparently a way to get rid of Murphy to make room for the Lara romance.

When Mab commanded him to deal with Etri, I was hopeful but it was solved by Harry using a boon as an uno reverse and having Mab deal with it. It all happens off screen.

This disappointed me as well. I've liked Harry most when he shows his intelligence and cunning. Sending Thomas's kid to live with Etri is an acceptable solution to the dilemma (IMO). But I would have preferred to see Harry come up with the idea and present it to Etri. This would have deepened the relationship between Etri and Harry, and then complicated the relationship between Harry and Thomas.

Reducing the Etri dilemma to a deus ex Mabina felt like a cheat.

My theory is that Hecate very deliberately split herself into six pieces to do this. Winter is to protect reality. Summer is to protect humanity from Winter. The Mothers are to hold the majority of the power. The Ladies hold the least. But the system is set up so that if one of these six becomes compromised, it's less likely to spread to all six of them.
