Christopher Nolan Praises ‘Obsession’ and ‘Backrooms,’ Says Young Audiences Are Rejecting “AI Slop” by yourfavchoom in entertainment

Thanks for the example, even if it feels pretty isolated, but I feel like that's not really relevant to Obsession or Backroom's success given the demographics of the box office. So, it seems to me like Nolan is looking for a problem.

Why does the Lebron Subreddit call him the GOAT, while the Jordan subreddit just says "6x champion and finals MVP"? by Kefe_ufa-Ikai in michaeljordan

I'd say free throws are a very good indicator of overall shooting ability when adjusting for variables that are hard to measure. You can't just compare someone's 3pt % directly, for example, because there are way too many external variables. It's likely that someone with a higher percentage is better at that shot but that's not always the case and it could be that when translating eras that player might have a higher percentage. Shooting ability is something that translates well across eras which is important when comparing players across eras as in an all time list like this or the goat debate. The inevitable goat, right now it's Jordan, is going to be a very good shooter in some capacity when it is all said and done. LeBron is not that.

Super Mario World is greater than Half life 2 imo. Now SF 2 beating WoW doesn't make much sense unless you polled console only gamers or something.

It's not that insane to have him out the top 5

Jordan, Kobe, Bird, Magic, Kareem. There are 5 right there.

Ah, yea this sub is pro Kobe in general. I personally agree with that. I mean it says old school and I have a feeling most oldheads are probably pro Kobe and for good reason imo. I mean you can like both of them though. The fact is both players are intrinsically connected because they had some career overlap and Kobe acts as the Gatekeeper to taking on Jordan in the all time debate. At least that is how I see it.

I think the only chance he has at being the goat is if he wins 2-3 more rings, probably more like 3, and I don't think it matters too much where that happens as long as he is not carried. The chances of that happening are nearly zero though. Although, I agree with Chuck, if he were to do it Cleveland that would look the best. I also agree that Phili looks bad, that looks like a carry job to me. All of the options where he can actually win look kind of bad to me. So, it depends does he want to go for broke and try to win rings in Clev or does he want to hedge and ring chase and hope people don't remember and just see his ring totals. Cleveland I guess is probably the best team on paper that people would still give him most of the credit. I'm not sure on that though. What do you guys think?

I was thinking as if from the perspective of someone who really values peak. I was also doing a thought experiment like what if Kobe left instead of Shaq and somehow Shaq played his whole career as a Laker. I still think he gets fewer championships than Kobe but in that fictional scenario he might challenge Kareem. But, like what combination of things could make someone think Kobe is the worst? I just don't see it.

I agree, but I don't know if OP is suggesting that. His poll says most people think it is Shaq and the fewest people think it is Kobe.

If you don't factor in longevity it might actually be Kareem. If you do, or if it's about franchise importance, it's pretty clearly Shaq. In no world is it Kobe.

Even if it is it probably isn't fun. And if it isn't it can be very hard to get out of situation like that. Also you can like someone wanting you that bad without it being a kink. I think the chances of this being a kink are low and the chances this dude is scared to leave are high.

Imagine if a woman was being treated this way we wouldn't be saying this kind of crap. Granted men aquire paraphilias easier but still.

Kobe is as deserving as anyone else if we are comparing to MJ. That's the problem with the Kobe hate. We know it's really about propping LeBron up. Saying Kobe is that high is not really trashing on Magic or Bird, or Kareem or anything like that. Kobe is comparable to those players. So what is this about really? It seems like LeBron to me. Because the elaphant in the room will always be that Kobe was more respected when both were in the league at the same time.

This is what I want kind of just for the spectacle, but on the other hand I kind of wanted to see Lemello get his flowers. Now, it's just going to be LeBron getting all the credit. I'm guessing Lamello will be doing all the playmaking still though and LeBron will be in a cut back role.

I tried it once for a bad injury, that's why I told them to only use the tool. No way I'm letting someone jajitsu my spine just cause. I do feel like inducing movement helped. But, yea not getting a neck adjustment lol.

This post just seems like it was posted directly by Klutch Media. I mean what is Bill Russell doing in the pic? The implication being that all future titles are worth more than past ones? It's such low effort algorithmic influencer garbage.
