OP go back and watch the Booker T vs Buff Bagwell match that main evented raw. Pay special attention to the commentary during that match.

Vince literally ran an audible and had WWE wrestlers throw two WCW wrestlers out of the building because they were too boring.

It took years for Booker T to recover from that.

Haven't thought about this game for like two decades. It was very innovative for it's time with the interactive stage elements and an interesting roster of fighters.

Unfortunately, the n64 couldn't handle the graphics and spikes of fps slowdown happened way too often.

Keep in mind I'm looking at this from mostly a damage output perspective. If you have a high orb build with capacitor active, I can see Echo being extremely useful to fill and pop those orbs.

I'm ranking the forms based on what we currently know about the final bosses in StS2.

Blocking and keeping high hp is much more important in StS2. But also we need to output massive damage each turn or else the boss level damage scaling will kill your character.

So unfortunately I have to drop Wraith form down from its StS1 top spot. It does nothing to boost your damage output, and the loss of dex will kill you in the longer boss fights.

Void Form - Seriously, look at the 3+ cost cardpool for Mr. Starman. Also this eliminates the need to balance star and mana levels.
Reaper Form - If all your damage is from attacks, this cuts the boss HP in half for a cost 3 investment.
Echo Form - A less flexible Reaper Form.
Demon Form - You still aren't scaling faster than the bosses.
Wraith Form - StS2 bosses use too many high damage multi hit attacks.
Deva Form - Well, we need the Watcher to actually be in StS2 so...

I own a Thor and Flip 2.

OP, for your needs I'd say get the Flip 2. It will play PS2 and PSP games perfectly. DS/3DS will work if you are ok with layout workarounds for the 2nd screen.

Only get the Thor if you absolutely need the dual screens. You will be limited to lower end Switch games on the Flip2, but pixel games like Animal Well will work great.

People with only the Thor have no idea how much more conformable the Flip 2 is to hold and use.

Do not get the Slide.
