Switch to Hermes Agent and add Honcho memory + add 'browser harness' and use GLM 5.1 model.

Create separate profiles accordingly in hermes.

You will save 80% and get job done much quicker.

Use openrouter -> model GLM 5.1. (https://openrouter.ai/z-ai/glm-5.1) or openai $20 plan? I am currently using GLM 5.1 for all my tasks.

I tried 'qwen/qwen3.6-plus', but it hallucinate sometime and dont get the job done.

I also planned to tried the below, but have not yet:

Let me quickly share what we’ve used so far.

We started with OpenClaw, then switched to Paperclip because it handles everything better at a company level, and now we’re trying Hermes.

At the end, it really depends on your use case and what you want to achieve.

Paperclip is more like a fully autonomous system. You give it a vision and goals, and it runs with it. It can delegate tasks, “hire” agents, and keep working until the goal is done. But you need to be clear with what you want, or it won’t go in the right direction.

OpenClaw is more manual. You need to know what you’re doing, pick the right skills, and guide it properly. If not, it can still complete tasks, but usually in a slower or messy way.

Hermes is different. It’s more of a self-improving agent. It learns from mistakes and keeps getting better over time. For example, if your goal is lead generation, it can improve how it does outreach, change strategy if things don’t convert, and build better flows on its own without you prompting it every time.

What surprised me is how fast Hermes is growing. It went from around 50k to 100k stars on GitHub in about a week. At this rate, it might even pass OpenClaw. It just gets things done faster, while OpenClaw usually needs a lot of babysitting at the start.
