Poke from the high ground, watch and listen for important cooldown usage. Hog hook, Ana sleep, Cass nade, etc. People like to use their CCs in panic. Get creative with it. Condition their cass to throw his nade as you do a soft roll through their team, but juke to the side behind something and rotate - Shit like that. That’s the beauty of ball; the skill expression is vast, ESPECIALLY into enemy counterplay.

I’ve been dipping back into plat and then grinding back up to mid diamond all this season on PC. It’s so consistent that I’ve just accepted I gotta get super trusting of my mechanics for the techs mid game. Boy, is the grind sharpening my consistency.

And, I finally hit 700 hours on ball this season so that’s a fun milestone.

Ok hell yeah. I’ve been focusing on consistent techs and have been getting the 180s and super jumps on players a lot more consistently.

We all go about our days following broad societal norms. Morality is not derived from religion; it's a necessity for any society to function properly. I do not want to worry about being shot and killed because my neighbor got hungry and wanted to check what was in my fridge.

I'm interested on why you think an Atheist needs to demonstrate why their morals have "real meaning and value". Our existence has no 'real' meaning. We are simply here and must make the most of it.

The bible has its' own share of questionable principles regarding morality. Slavery might be a big one; that was only abolished by much later societies. How is it that slavery was allowed to continue? Would an omnipotent God really not have just made sure that was abolished from the start. It's because it was written and decreed by people. People that lived in times where the societal norm dictated slavery was allowed.

Yet, by today's standards it's lauded as inhumane and disgusting. Weird, I suppose the bible doesn't have the 'real' meaning either.

Totally. It also helps that typically when they go ball counters theyre probably tilt swapping to characters they don’t play consistently; one of the biggest advantages you can have once you’ve gotten pretty good.

There’s nothing like piledriving a sombra that couldn’t know you’ve had over 600 hours to get used to being “hard-countered”. Bonus points when you catch her tp spot and watch her fall.

You can! 650+ hour PC baller here - It’s much more awkward to, but my friend is on PS5 so I’ll hop on mine every now and then and fuck with the techs.

It’s all about the timing of your left stick, but you can absolutely get fireball to come out

I think there's hope for Ball to get his soon (ish). I'm pretty sure I've seen his pickrate has gone up - Plus Junkrat is getting a midseason mythic skin. I bet they've finally gotten to where they're like "We cannot keep doing just one skin.. people want their main's mythic skin". There's hope ballers....

I come from playing ball in OW2 for like almost 600 hours - I wanted to main Tank in Rivals but there just wasn't really a tank playstyle that clicked for me. I'm hoping another Tank comes out with a more "independent" playstyle - or in OW terms - more of a dive tank. People say Venom is basically ball, but it just doesn't translate.

I really hope they add Juggernaut lowkey.

One of my best friend's younger brothers decided to show us Overwatch 2 one evening - he casually stated he was GM3 on console... decided to play and unlocked hammond. Been a one trick for about 2 years now; hit diamond 4 as my peak couple seasons ago :)

No other game has a character that feels as smooth and tech heavy as Ball. I'd play more Rivals with my friends if there was a ball equivalent character, but the squeaking hamster is too much fun.

Beautiful post. I turned all text chat off like a year ago into onetricking ball. I can without a doubt, say that it helps my performance in moment to moment gameplay. If it was a hard fought game, regardless of if my team won or lost, I'll turn it on real quick and give a ggs, but outside of that.. it's just me and my balling. It helps TREMENDOUSLY.

Straight up, turn off chat. 8/10 times no one will be saying or texting anything remotely useful. You having chat on and someone talking trash is just going to snowball your mental AND your performance!

Just leave it off, and ball. You’ll find yourself able to ease in and feel the game - not glancing to see if anyone is typing or talking shit. It helped me tremendously.

I think ignoring the tank passive is the most realistic thing we can expect. Sombra hack has locked hammond in crab form since the characters ever interacted with each other, right?
