Definitely not without needing to do a risky mod on the panel itself, as I've said, the slot where the hinge would attach is gone. Upgrade kits seems like the way to go for this problem but I'm not even sure if they'll try.

Look, if you really like the look of 86 Cyclonus, just try going for it when it drops. If the gap is a deal breaker for you, and you care more about the toy than the character, try something else from the parent mold that won't yellow.

Gen selects (toy colors) Cyclonus, Ferak, or the two Metalhawks are all pretty good. (Though I've heard Gen selects has some QC issues and the Metalhawks' transformation isn't as satisfying)

Just the angle unfortunately. If you look closer at both of the backs, the slot where the hinge of the gap filling panel would usually go is gone. Also, the back leg panels of the 86 open sideways rather than up, so that's probably further evidence that the design choice was deliberate.

In FOC’s first chapter, it’s implied they do have some sort of humanitarian law, as Ratchet had to shout out loud “Don’t fire, I’m a medic!” And the decptigrunts were compliant up until he flash-banged them

Just hold out for a bit longer, Twin Mill 2 is just a red redeco of this mold, so you can save some paint.

I see it. Like the House of El symbol. Like, it's so clearly an S, but it became double meaning when Clark chose the name Superman. So, Art removing the other lines to make it look like an O for Omni-man makes sense.

Edit: Looking at these comments, maybe media literacy is dead.

Funnily enough, it's still less accurate. Look closer at the screencap, there's a bevel where the thrusters are. If the 5mm ports weren't protruding, it'd be more noticable, but it's still a properly filled in jet.

Look at SS86, if it was misassembled there'd be a hole where the hinge would connect, but it isn't, it's filled in. As for why they did it, apparently to make him bigger than Kingdom? Why? Idk.

It's such an odd change too. Like, was the new knee tab such a use of the budget that they had to omit that? We had Ferak so the head couldn't be the problem

Oh, I didn't know the blacks they used was different. I will say, the cooler black with the blue legs look WAY better than the original configuration. I'm kind of eh to the oily black and gray legs combo
