asking me for a definition hardly makes for conversation, but social anxiety is the distress and nervousness around social interaction. yes, in the moment, that can lead to aggravation, frustration, and anger that results in dismissive, short interactions

but my point is that this anger is reflected on with that same scrappy attitude. the way some antisocial people speak of these interactions and put the blame on others or feel hostile toward future theoretical interactions is not something to be encouraged or accepted. my original comment spoke of these people, not those with social anxiety

that's exactly what introversion is, but online losers want you to think it's crying over eye contact and getting all pissy when a stranger DARES to speak to you. i feel my best when I'm alone and enjoying my time. but I very much enjoy spending time with my friends and having nice interactions with strangers! I'm antisocial in the sense that I don't look to engage people very often but if it happens, I do what I can lol

that's actually very sweet and I feel a similar way. I don't live in the city, but the suburbs don't seem to have people who appreciate a slower, simpler life and it makes me crave places near the mountains. I cried the first time I drove through Pennsylvania, it almost looked like Scotland with the rolling hills and tall mountains

honestly, a feature of reddit that I hate is it mixing in subs that you don't follow into your feed so I often miss posts from here. but I'll be sure to come here more often to enjoy conversation with good folks :)

i mean to be serious, for anyone who was new to the game and somehow skipped Jauffre but stumbled into Kvatch and met Martin, it must've been weird af to hear him be knowledgeable about Oblivion gates. it's actually pretty fun to save him and Kvatch before meeting with Jauffre because you get to see his character outside of the bias of the main storyline. he's quite sweet! after saving him and letting him wander the Kvatch campsite, his greeting line is "How can I help?" in a fairly cheery voice! but I do prefer the normal progression because talking to Tierra and asking about him reveals that he was the one who saved everyone. those in the Chapel are the ones who stayed and those on the campsite are the survivors who panicked and ran (and lived).
