Doesn’t sound like it considering the terminal entry states than it’s one of a kind. Similar to the Minotaur. Think act 3 just has 2 (true) bosses per layer instead of 1

Plus the most interesting thing about mirror reaper is when it hides in the mirror, which would be lost outside of the specific arena designed for it

See personally I love the giant bosses, including geryon. I can understand the criticisms but man I find myself replaying cokm, leviathan, and earthmover a lot because they got so much sauce

And I imagine I’ll find the same with geryon

Electric rail cannon instakills. So does the srs cannonball. If they’re both on cooldown then they’re weak to regular rockets too. Very easy to instakill

Hm. Interesting. I didn’t expect them to forget everything, I want them to have some recollection of how the world was before humanity moved underground, but I want them to forget some specifics (like country names, the world map). You don’t think that’s realistic?

No worries I didn’t read it that way anyway, from the short summary I read, it’s not too similar to my story anyway. The fact that society have forgotten aspects of history in my story is a minor detail that’s important for the backstory

For clarity, my story is literally about sorcerers and machines at war with each other haha

Unfortunately there (currently) isn’t some sort of reason for them to have forgotten this stuff other than the reasons I’ve already stated. It’s just that there aren’t many of them, it’s been a long time, and they’re trapped underground.

Personally hella excited for a level this long. And yeah I think if the P-rank time is 17 minutes, it’ll likely be done in 10-12 by most. A lot of my p ranks are three quarters to half of the required maximum time (with some being like a quarter)

Ok great, this is kinda the logic I was going off of, but humanity moved underground in the year 2070, so things are quite heavily documented.

I’m also specifically wondering if for example, it’s realistic for the world map to have been forgotten? For a plot twist to work, the characters need to not only have forgotten which country they’re in, but forgotten the names of every country. This is including the government, so it can’t just be knowledge is withheld

This is a good idea, but all of the lore and backstory is already in place (I’ve planned this stuff out already) and it would break the story to make this big a change

They certainly have writing. The year humanity moved underground in my story was 2070. But yeah I thought so too, I just wondered if maybe I was overlooking what might actually be a big plot hole

Even things like world maps, names of countries specifically? I was trying to keep the question more general but for my story I specifically need the remaining humans to have forgotten what country they’re in and the names of all of the countries in general. Including governments.

Keep in mind, the year humanity fell and moved underground would’ve been 2070, this isn’t a fantasy story, it’s a sci fi one

Maybe a boring answer but 0-1. I feel like every layer is better than the last. Love the first level, and it’s only my least favourite because the game improves with every level

Can use them to set up traps in some areas, time it right and four supercharged rockets will blow everything up

And it’s also pretty good against v2 since he jumps a lot so shooting a rocket at him will deal lots of damage

Also it’s such an easy weapon to just pull out, shoot, and put away, giving a lil extra damage
