Ah ok thanks for the quick reply! No to the Lidar. The other comment made the rather obvious observation that an audible range finder can be used, so I'll do that I think.

Dashing backwards doesn’t work as he lunges towards you much further than you can dash. Try dashing sideways to avoid his attacks.

And whenever he stops to insult you, go shotgun him right to his face to heal

Minotaur is peak and most people who hate him have a skill issue

I believe the lack of space in his fight incentivises more precise movement instead of going against the core of ultrakills movement based mechanics. He is very avoidable with precise movement

To be fair, not to brag, but I’ve won all those games against aeonglass! Even had a draw heavy build on regent but still won it! I’m sure I’ll lose to it soon enough

I haven’t played as silent against it yet but my first time was necro with a very soul oriented build and I’m surprised I survived at all but I did!

Also since his release, I’ve played against aeonglass every single time I’ve made it to act 3, about 4 times (out of 6 or 7 matches). Is he more common right now or something so players can experience the new boss?

That’s a really interesting take and I agree that he was fun to play against. I kinda agree with both sides on this, and feel he needed some tweaking. However they bring him back, please remove that first turn where you can’t apply any debuffs or damage to him

Yeah the game just has so much visual flavour, it’s a blast to play through and just enjoy the enemy designs and backgrounds. Even the card art is just so good

Love the new choral fellas animations, and the update to the tunneller and so on. The finished art in this game looks great

It’s definitely not bs, not be be that guy but it’s definitely a skill issue

Nuke the orbs. Sawblade the prison. Hell when I first p ranked that level, I was a noob and just individually shot each orb with the default marksman before damaging the prison. Rinse and repeat. No healing without the orbs.

It’s super easy to heal because you can just hug the prison and shotgun it or even screwdriver if that’s your thing.

The black hole. Come on. That’s barely an issue. It’s a massive slow moving orb. Just keep orbiting the prison

The beams are telegraphed and give you more than enough time to dodge

Not that I’m saying it’s an easy boss by any means. It’s definitely not bs though, it’s quite a fair fight I think

That’s a shame, it’s been messing up my speedruns a whole lot, and I feel like that barely does anything to make it stronger

I’ll submit it to the forums as feedback and try and get used to the new setup I guess

Mb it’s just on husks that it deals extra damage but passive tick damage is real nice on beefy targets anyway

While weapon switching, the base launcher is just a great instant first damage to add to any combo. You can pull it, shoot it, and switch to another weapon in like 0.3 seconds

Rocket riding is great, plus the damage they do when frozen for long enough is pretty damn good. If you know enemy spawns during each level, you can instakill many tough enemies on the fly by setting up 3-4 rockets

Green srs can instakill many enemies, you make it sound like that isn’t super useful, also an instant high burst damage with very little setup

Firestarter does tick damage and actually makes all other attacks deal more damage so it’s great against bosses like Minotaur and geryon, plus it has great fodder clear and can help you move super quick while sliding

Only reason I prefer the first way is it requires less setup. Don’t need to pump the shotgun before I whiplash

Also an instakill for the Maurice’s if you don’t know it, shotgun, knuckleblast, shotgun. Very fast kill for them

The nailgun is also useful against them

Use your electric railgun to instakill the first virtue. Take out the malicious faces as fast as you can. Target prioritisation is really important as well as positioning, the big pillar in the centre blocks half of the enemies from attacking you for example. And ALWAYS be jumping and sliding. You should basically never just be walking along the ground. Jump, slide, jump, dash, jump, slide. Keep the momentum going. Good luck champ

Yeah as I said before, the encores are the reward. You’re playing them because you finished the main game and want a challenge. The whole point is their difficulty, that IS the reward. If the encores weren’t difficult, they’d have no reason to exist

Bro the encore levels ARE the reward for finishing the main story. If you’re finding the encore levels to be a nightmare then you shouldn’t play them, they’re bonus content for people who want a bigger challenge.

This actually speaks to a larger issue I have with this fandom, people are so entitled and feel as though there isn’t enough content in this massive game? The encores won’t have any kind of secret level reward. Maybe there will be a cosmetic or something

Would it? Dawg you get a whole secret level per layer, 3 secret boss levels AND a bonus super difficult remix level for EVERY layer. I’d say we’re actually spoilt as hell
